Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

probably means Moore will now go out on loan, as will Cooper Leaving Ilori and Dickie as the centre back options   He means STUART Moore, (the goalkeeper) me thinks. BBC website says Ilori "is understood " to have signed for RFC. No conformation on either the Reading FC or Li...

Radio Berks isn't directly, but if you sign up for Reading Player you get Radio Berks commentary. I did so in August knowing I'd be abroad for 1st games of the season. As it turns out tonight was my 4th game having to listen from abroad. Yes, I'd forgotten about that. I signed up for Reading Player...

Silver Fox
The Royal Forester Keep on eye on Brighton, though. At the moment they can finish with more points than Newcastle. Please don't let it be THEM!
Anyone know/remember how many points we had after 23 games on our way to the record?

56

Thanks. Nice to know we had more than half of 106. and feel a bit better now.

Re: The romance of the cup

At least we have beaten Man Utd. once in our 19 meetings with them, it was only ninety years ago. Don't remember it myself, though. That year we got to the semi-final, so lets hope for a repeat, or better still going one step further.

So here's some things I know. - Chinese are definitely a go ahead. Advanced talks mean advanced talks. Thais will sell quickly if it works for them. Chinese will buy quickly if it works for them. - It's not the same consortium as Hull - it's the "big two" - this brother and sister (who's ...

Re: Madejski stadium pitch size

Nameless Just thinking further about this, if the pitch has been lengthened the one constant would be that the halfway line has not moved ! You cannot suddenly be a metre nearer the middle, the middle stays where it is.

The half way line will move, if the pitch is extended at one end, though.

Customerservice@readingfc.co.uk: [color=#0000FF]Thank you for contacting Reading Football Club. As far as I am aware, there aren’t any plans to do any more. Whilst the mourning period officially lasts for a year, the first month is hugely significant, hence two matches which included a minute’s sil...

I see Forest are the only Championship side not to keep a clean sheet this season, so being Reading FC, we will help them to end that run.

0-1.

Re: Arsenal (A) Predictions

Our "play it sideways across in front our goal" will be found out and destroyed by the Arsenal forwards and the score will be 7-0 to them, unless, of course, we are 4-0 up, forty four minutes into the game!

Re: The Egg chasers relegation

London Irish have applied for permission to play at Brentford's new ground. It is hoped to start work on the new stadium during 2017 with a move for both the Bees and The Exiles ahead of the 2019-20 season. Although contracted to The Madstad, until 2025-26 a clause allows LI to break it early for a ...

And did the walk out protest from the Portsmouth fans materialise? According to a Pompy fan interviewed on Radio Berks. last night. A walk out was their original intention, but as that would have given a false "attendance" figure they decided to boycott the game altogether., to keep the f...

I am pretty certain that the Newcastle players protested when he disallowed the "goal". So why did they not get fined as well? Protesting against a cheat not getting away with cheating surely brings "the game into disrepute". I too look forward to all the "big clubs" (a...

George_ Great news. Sooner it happens the better.

Don't expect it to happen too soon. The new ground has not been started on, yet. Although, perhaps sharing Griffen Park before the new ground is finished could be on the agenda.
