Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by mid table obscurity

Given how we've structured the Ejaria, Joao and Puscas deals, is signing Pele and Miazga this summer realistic? I doubt we'd have much left in the bank for the wingers we need. Persuade Barrow to come back? I raised this yesterday. I don't know what the deal is with Miazga. He would be a brilliant ...

Re: Rival Watch

Yeah there’s always ‘what ifs’ but the Hull result was particularly frustrating. You’d still give us a reasonable chance if we were 6 points behind, 8 points - ie 3 wins - is a very tall order

Re: Rival Watch

Doesn’t seem like anyone wants that last playoff spot Preston are on poor form, Bristol are on poor form, Blackburn and Cardiff are inconsistent along with Swansea and Millwall seem to struggle to convert draws to wins, other than Friday Looks like QPR at the moment have the momentum and their next...

Re: BFTG Brum

Fully agree it’s time to give Ovie a rest On balance he has had a very good season for us and is a real talent Give him a couple of games on the bench - we’ve plenty who can come in for him Very tidy win that. A good sign that we won comfortably away at a side who hadn’t lost for 10 games with a tea...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Plenty of jokes I can’t be arsed to make about our home attendances and mass gatherings

Not sure tbh - can see them closing the doors for a few games. It could spell trouble for a few clubs financially if they do I reckon

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

It always amazes me in cricket that both Moeen Ali and Broad bowl right handed but bat left handed.. Thats not about being capable in batting both right and left though. I'm actually the same (though obviously at a rubbish level) when playing cricket, and batting right handed feels completely unnat...

Re: January Transfer Window

Its a great result for Hamilton and for him, in front of a large crowd. I think a promise for him to play cup games and being number 2 would persuade him to hang around for another year

Re: Best signing of the summer window?

tough one that. Puscas and Ejaria were both signed for the long term really. Both have done fairly well, but we'd expect a better return next season. Joao and Miazga have been pretty good but injury prone. Adam did a job. Boye didnt. Pele has done well, whilst Morrison and Rafael were both excellent...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Really enjoyed the game. After their early goal, I thought we were in for a pasting--but gradually we got into it and gave them a proper game. Which amazed me, considering how crap we were against Wigan and Barnsley. (I know we beat Barnsley, but Barnsley were poor compared to Atlético Wigan.) This...

URZZZZ Strangely enough, as I saw online somewhere today, Sharp has only ever scored twice (one being yesterday) against MM so that makes his comments even stranger

Much like Leon and OMA, he hasn’t come out of this well

Without sounding like OMA - We aren't getting charged with breaking FFP and we aren't going to be docked points. Simple as that.

yes, looks like Hogan was a very good signing for them. Fair play for taking the gamble

They're a basic side with a couple of good players - yes a bit like us really

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by mid table obscurity

Rafael Yiadom Miazga Morrison Richards Rino Swift Meite Olise McCleary Puscas Walker Blackett Moore Pele Ejaria Timbe Baldock Obita in for Richards but otherwise like this side. Though he tired, I though Obita offered plenty in the Sheff Utd game - those long curling balls down the line were causin...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Obita had a poor game, but wasn't awful or anything. Ejaria carried on as normal. There's massive talent there, but he slows everything to walking pace and generally makes terrible decisions dribbling into blind alleys and producing nothing. It's all well and good having great close control, but if...
