Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

If Stam goes I want a replacement set in stone almost immediately. We can’t afford to take the risk of a clueless caretaker manager taking us down, unfortunately this is the type of campaign where it all ends in relegation unless change is done quickly. I’d say we hire a new manager and get rid of G...

Re: Rumour - Jack Colback

A lot of people say how good our midfield depth is but it’s really not that good, Colback would be good backup for that reason. Just hope we go abroad and buy some exciting players, we have been absolutely awful considering the amount we’ve spent

CountryRoyal
TiagoIlori Never seem to beat Ipswich away from home do we?

Last 7 trips: W3 L3 D1

That’s a somewhat pleasant surprise, feels like a long time since we’ve won there

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

Stam was beyond naive, you don’t think about inviting pressure until the last 10 minutes

Re: Injury watch 2017-18 season

He has 7 months left on his contract, can’t help but think Stam will have to give him the chance to prove himself. You'd imagine, if there's no chance of going up, once we're safely clear of relegation, he'd get that chance in league games? Assuming he's done fine in U23 games up to that point. Wel...

Re: Injury watch 2017-18 season

Seems like a Watson is a couple of weeks away from being fit, do wonder how he fits Stam’s plans consider he’s been out for so long Don’t think any player who has been put for a year can be in anyone’s plans. Will need to get back into training and play 6 or 7 u23 games before he’ll be on the radar...

Re: Postponement tomorrow?

We have undersoil heating, so there’s little chance of a frozen pitch. I recall the QPR game or something going ahead despite the snow happening just a few hours earlier

Re: Record Watch 2017/18

Gonna be bold here and say the record won’t be beaten for a long time, Wolves aren’t worthy of our record, they’ve already lost more than our 106 side did all season. Teams tend to slow down over the festive period and that long gruelling April, their strength in depth really isn’t that impressive imo

Re: Scoring first vs conceding first

We don’t react well enough to being a goal down, simple as. We need to be more direct and play effective possession football, how can we expect to beat the likes of wolves and Bristol City who were happy to sit back at points when we keep obsessing over possession? We panic and lose the ball from to...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Mannone was probably the best goalkeeper we could’ve got. Much more well rounded than AAH and his experience, well speaks for itself. He’s really improved too, he seems to have got his confidence back which is a massive boost. I just hope his off the pitch worries have only a positive effect on it, ...

Re: In or Out?

I was in the out camp but it’s great to see Stam has turned it round, am pleased to be proven wrong by Stam who seemed too stubborn to change. Home form needs to improve though, but I’m glad away form has drastically improved. Had we played like that away last season with Aluko and Barrow(probably w...

Seems like a Watson is a couple of weeks away from being fit, do wonder how he fits Stam’s plans consider he’s been out for so long Hopefully he or Richards will be eased in, with the other providing cover, to pair with Gunter, allowing us to get Bacuna back into midfield where he can drive us forw...

Can’t wait for this to start now, children crying, last minute drama and fans going bonkers when they grab a consolation goal to make it 9-1. Going to be glorious.

Re: Liam Kelly

Might still be some teams keen on him and he’s got just over a year left on his deal, seems disinterested. Time to cash in on him? Think we could find a better player for the price we could get for him tbh, thinking about the long term, Swift is the same age and is undoubtedly a level above, Stam s...

Re: BFTG Barnsley.

Looking back at the highlights I really do think Van den Berg was superb for his goal, rather than giving up he just kept going and got his reward. Top marks. Will have to reiterate what I think about Edwards, his quiet but solid performances make us so much better and I wasn’t happy when I heard we...
