Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Fair point. Very much like his sister in the respect really, all fancy flicks and touches but lacking in any consistent end product. Women's football is actually kind of like Fulham. Media does their best to hype them, but in reality they're just a bit shit. That comment says more about you than it...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Even without contacting the ticket office I think it was pretty clear what they meant. After all, if you could only buy for an existing member/ST holder we would never get rid of 38,000 tickets would we?

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Was only 1 per season ticket for the Arsenal game though. Think if its 2 per season ticket it will make a difference. Even if it is 2 per STH then we still won't sell out before general sale i don't reckon They should defo make it 2 per ticket.. It will put people off going that they won't be able ...

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

Well as with most of these foreign owners, plus with our own experience, they're not exactly in it for Reading. Asset stripping could be a reason. I don't know. Just seems a classic distraction tactic that's all. Does paranoia run in your family ? Publishing a statement that your club has changed o...

Re: RUMOUR - Chelsea to play at the Madejski Stadium

Forbury Lion OUT because whats to stop Chelsea's billionaire owner buying our stadium from the Thai's and us being tenants with what's left of the club being flogged off to the Chinese and/or having to play our games in Aldershot??

Wow. That is some conspiracy theory!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h) sponsored by whoever's got the bottle

When we played Wigan there were so many blue and white balloons that one half of the pitch was covered. Roy Carroll got so frustrated that there had to be a delay while they popped the lot. So, if everyone brings a few balloons tomorrow owe can relive that night!

Re: Play Off Home Leg

Unable to get a ticket online at the moment. I assume that means they are down to very low numbers (if not already sold out). Hopefully there are a few singleton tickets still available for my daft daughter who has now left it late to buy one! There's definitely tickets left, did you login? Sorted....

Good to see that the training pitches are going to replicate the actual playing surface at the Mad Stad!

The main pitch at Hogwood also replicates the Madejski one.

Re: Royal Elm Park

Dome is definitely planned to go to Forest School, which makes sense given the Academy lads are based there. Loss of a 3G pitch won't kill the deal, easy to put some money the council's way to put a pitch in at Palmer Park or somewhere. Presumably once this is resolved the issue of Bearwood will be...

Re: BFTG - Rov'rum

Another game of two halves. Second half Rotherham dropped back deeper, Didn't press as high. Kelly as a result was given space to play in. Good patient play achieved the result in the end. Will Mendes get a start at Forest. Understandable why he was rested today. All games have two halfs...except f...

As I sit here in Cirencester contemplating the rain outside my window I feel eternally grateful not to have made the trip up the M4 to watch this game.

Ian Royal Disagree entirely. We're the odd player from something special. The groundwork has been laid and we need relatively little in personnel changes.

Re: BFTS - Brighton (A)

As usual we get the normal split on BFTG threads-some saying how they saw the game, others trying to present the bigger picture. I am one of those who prefer to say and read about what happened on the day. On this particular day we showed not just the mental weakness but also the lack of physical s...
