Re: Financial Fair Play

From what I’ve heard, our perilous financial situation is going to scupper our chances of signing any of the loan players

Re: The League of 4

We had an absolutely shocker of a minute today whereby Barrow missed a one on one, Hull took the lead shortly after, AND Rotherham took the lead in their match.

percy_freeman No. Was he really that good?

He was only good in the final stages of his contracts.

Re: Financial Fair Play

Quite a bit of character assassination of Stam from trawling trough the thread, which goes against what I’ve heard from some of the people I know at the club. I appreciate it’s easy to tar Stam with the same brush as Gourlay, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. A lot of the signings in summ...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

The ref was negligibly bad today, to the point where his actions (or lack of) at times could be directly attributed to injuries.

Wigan shot themselves in the foot, as if they’d bothered trying to play football they’d have probably come away with the win.

A very sweet win

Re: £5 Comic Relief Red Reading Footy shirt

I heard none of the management even bothered to be in yesterday. No need for them to be in. Shirts sold, refunds being applied, other staff able to deal with enquiries. Job done. On face value yes, however I would be absolutely mortified if one of my subordinates would have been fed to the wolves i...

Crystal Palace 3-3 Reading

A topsy turvy game, but perhaps the day it became apparent that Ivar was past it

Re: BFTG Rotherham

The usual knee jerk nonsense in here I see. It's not though is it? People are saying the same things they've said all season about games against the teams around us and our inability topit the game away. These players continually fail to learn week after week and produce the same mistakes over and ...

Zip Surprised there hasn’t been more praise for Swift’s fantastic pass to Oliveira for the winner. It was fabulous

This.

Also, the run from Richards did a great job in allowing Nelson the space to score. A lovely goal all told.

Some cracking fixtures through the years on Valentine's Day! The Brentford turnaround of 2017 The Yakubu show against Derby 2015 The draw at Bramall Lane in 2006 - I remember being disappointed we missed that last minute penalty. Imagine being annoyed that we could only consolidate our 12 point lead...

Ejaria 3 - a Sone Aluko 17/18 performance, drifted inside and kept losing the ball, very disappointed     You have to be kidding me! Battled throughout the game, never stopped running, frequently won challenges, wasn't afraid to go into challenges where many would have h...

Interesting how people can view things differently, I’ve seen a few people say they didn’t rate Miazga, Ejaria and Rinomhota - but I thought they all did very well.

Re: BBC Berks - Portuguese striker to join in next 24 hours

One that got away for me. Thought we had a proper player on our hands. He was absolutely sh!t. And probably on a king's ransom too No way John, Sa was excellent. He had a fire in his belly that no striker has had since for us. He was aggressive and always caused oppostion defenders problems, was mo...

Re: BFTG United (A)

There are a few similarities between the start of McDermott’s first stint and Gomes’ handful of games. Spirited performances in the league with exception of one stinker (Plymouth for BMcD and Swansea for JG), and then a very promising performance against one of the best teams in the country. Let’s h...
