Re: BFTG - Baggies

How does giving him 12 extra months cause any real difference. It'll cost us next to nothing to remove him in the summer if we decide to do so. We are struggling to find a way to play at the moment because of the lopsided nature of the squad he inherited, we don't have a lot of like for like replac...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Unless we go on an amazing run soon I suspect we maybe looking for a new manager this summer..... The owners surely cant ignore an empty stadium, sh*t football and looking over our shoulder in the league season after season as it now appears. Shouldn’t have given him a new contract really. I’m not ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Neil Clement

We're one of the slowest team I've seen on the ball, there's no tempo whatsoever. We're one of the slowest teams to actually press the opposition. It all makes for dire viewing and it's driving attendances down and down and down As for having no winger on the bench, with McCleary and Timbe both sup...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

windermereROYAL Bed wetters are out in force tonight, get the next two games out of the way then we start playing teams around us, no danger of relegation.

And that’s our measure of success -having just had a prolonged period of good form including one of our best Christmas periods ever?

Really?

Re: February perspective

I think first and foremost, our luck has ran out Derby losing their heads, Rafael’s late save against QPR, Fulham hitting the woodwork a few times and missing a couple of sitters, our deflected goal against Fulham etc Compared to since then, both of Forest’s goals were lucky against us, Millwall pl...

Re: Rival Watch

tidus_mi2 We were dicked by Millwall at their place, West Brom dicked Millwall at their place.

So obviously we're going to win.

Re: BFTG Hull.

If we had switched to a back 4 and packed the midfield we would not only have kept a clean sheet, but looked far more likely to score a second. Based on what? We might have done but we didn’t look like conceding in the slightest before we did. That may have happened with a packed midfield just the ...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Yep sorry being lazy. The Brazilian half pint. Hull were the worst team I’ve seen this season. LOL at playing us off the park in the first half. They were shit. Luton by far the worst team I’ve seen this season, followed closely by Cardiff Hull were poor but I’m not sure they were like those two The...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Watching Reading isn’t easy.Just when you think we are getting somewhere (large tracts of the 2nd half),somebody, somewhere switches off and bang, we’re back in the mire. Please Mr Bowen, don’t play three at the back,as we haven’t got a clue how to play it.In the first ten or so minutes we could have...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Swift and Ejaria were extremely poor. They and the team, lacked any semblance of urgency, far too casual in their passing and work rate. Ejaria really lacks end product at times and the whole team constantly wanted too many touches. Really poor. Hull were terrible, other than Preston, (and Reading) ...

I've not really changed my ways. I've just been posting less over the last week or so.

I guess I'm not finding the forum particulary fun.

Everyone here is having a lot of fun.

Especially when Genome is less active. Mug.

Re: Top scorers

2 world wars, 1 world cup I remember when we signed Asaba

Just saying

Didn’t he get 12ish goals in that relegation season?

Edit; he got 8 in 33. Not great but then we were terribly shit.

Re: Second season success stories

I thought Glen Little was shit in his loan spell - next season he was unplayable. Puscas needs some real coaching to get him working effectively in the formations we play. He also needs to improve his work rate and movement. I have no idea what we can do with him but I think he can play. We have to...

Re: Second season success stories

Doyle started off on the bench and it was only an injury to Kitson against Burnley that got him starting games. He started scoring pretty much as soon as he got in the starting lineup. Incorrect. He started the first game against Plymouth. Kits wasn't fit for the start of the season. Incorrect. Kit...

Yes that’s how I remember it.
