Re: CONFIMRED - Matt Miazga

Although signing loan players from Chelsea is always a huge risk. Theyaren’t Playing for anything other than their guaranteed wage packet. They know they are just a commodity and will go from one loan deal to another just to oil the financial wheels at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are the worst example...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Manchester United (a) sponsored by down down deeper and down

Team selection for this match will interesting. Surely anyone playing or on the bench will be in the managers mind to keep for the season. Anyone else is not cup-tied, so may be easier to shift on during the window. Not sure the possible destinations for our unwanted garbage will be too worried abo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Dean Horrix

If any of you lot think it is shit at the moment imagine having a Leeds supporting wife!

I had just a little ray of hope that their post Xmas collapse was about to begin when Blackburn scored on 89 minutes, but they conjured another victory.

Looks like we will be two divisions apart next season.

Re: New Manager

Castro to be confirmed Tuesday or Wednesday. Slaviša Jokanović was approached, briefly spoken to, and we moved on. Yet BBC Berks are reporting that Nigel is handing a 10 name short list to the owners this morning. Rumours within the hospitality area on Sat that Sir Brynn of Gunnarsson is on the sho...

Re: New Premier League Loan Restrictions - Bargains to be found?

NewCorkSeth Fifa plan to introduce a restriction of 8 loans per club. Chelsea have 40 loaned out.

Any names tickle your fancy?

According to an article in the Times yesterday Chelsea have 107 professionals of which 14 are goalkeepers

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins last game

Comfortably ahead on points, Camp has been by far the busier keeper with a good save from Meite and a rather spawny one from Kelly. As mentioned in the post above we look a bit lightweight in midfield as a collective but individually Swift and Kelly are having decent games. Sims hasn't seen too much...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

I would imagine there has been a renegotiation of his contract adding a "reasonable" buy out clause. If we are not seriously challenging by Xmas and Moore is consistently putting in decent performances I can see an amicable parting of the ways in the next window.

Re: Season 2018/2019

Mild concern we're regularly conceding in pre-season. Positive we're scoring. Great to see McNulty bag a goal. Nice to see Smith continue his knack of scoring, although can't see him having much involvement in the first team of course. He seems to be one of those players who look a bit average but ...

Re: Back from the ****

The second goal summed up Gunters performance- a less than half hearted challenge followed by him ambling back towards the action. I don’t often leave early but at least I was spared the comedy defending for the last two goals. My thoughts on the games do season have been more than covered in the pr...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h) sponsored by the curse of Saturday

Clement as much as admitted that his next task is to sort out the positions in front of the defence to take some of the pressure off the centre backs. If he can perform another Ilori like miracle on Evans he may find one answer

Re: BFTG - Preston -Home

Just one other thing why do the vendors outside the ground insist you can’t take a bottled drink into the stadium with the cap on. They remove the cap before they give you the drink. Ridiculous. A full bottle with a lid on is quite a good weapon. Perhaps someone should tell the staff inside then. M...

First time I’ve been for a while partly due to cantbearsedness and partly to holidays. Observations. Moore back to his imperious best. Has Clement cloned a new Ilori? Re: The Life and Times of Ahmet Rifat

Boucad had a lot of disciplinary issues. Even before he was at Reading. The lad was plying his trade for Henley Town and owed them thousands in fines for red cards and breach of rules. He had massive attitude problems, didn't really take training seriously but there was no mistaking his talent. I s...

Re: Thais set sights on Oxford

There is a rumour circulating that our erstwhile owners are set for another bout of asset stripping. There is a decent amount of car parking at the Kassam ripe for development. If I roll my eyes any further at these "rumours" I feel my eyes are going to be permanently stuck in the back of...
