Kajagoogoo Dont sonny me,i stood on the sb in the eighties and know exactly what the crack is.Money, lefties and the taylor report f***ked football in this country.

I love it when unsubstantiated opinions are thrown around like this. Football is in a better state now than it ever was - so how is it f***ked ?

It was particualarly ironic to hear Trevor Sinclair being called a northern bastard. Surely he is a London lad?

The club have a right to sell the tickets as they wish and of the 2000 ish they have to sell in a linked fashion they have sold the majority. This does mean that people with more disposable income will be the ones with the tickets. Sadly that is not the club's responsibility. Their's is to get bums...

Re: Expanding the Mad Stat

As you say you accept that some people did not bother did not bother to get STs, a lot won't bother trying to get match tickets for similar reasons. . Not quite sure what you mean by that? The ST sales reached maximum availability (the club always said they'd only sell 18k STs I think), and there w...

You should go to support your team no matter who they are playing just because we're in the prem now doesnt mean the team doesnt need our support against smaller teams To be honest though, there are other things I'd much rather do on a Tuesday night than watch Reading reserves v Darlington. Frankly...

Here's one for the stattos then, how often did we fill the reduced capacity EP in the last couple of years? I know it took time to get to average gates as high as they are now - but if we'd built a 10- 15k stadium then we'd look silly. Sometimes you need to speculate a little (not too much - I think...

So, in this example, ManU are shown to pay the £16 (not even 50%) for something which actually has a market value of £35, more a case of lose win, surely? No, say uyou paif £600 for the seaon ticket that is £31 per game So if you can't make that game you are £31 out of pocket if man utd give y...

I'm sorry but really can't have a decent grasp of business if you believe that last point. No company are ever going to buy back tickets from fans unless they know they have a good chance of selling that seat. If for example, you know you can't make the Blackburn game but the club haven't sold the ...

The ST holder wins because they are getting money back for a game they can't attend - it might not be ...

. 2) Do not tell me that I can't let my mate(s) use the tickets that I paid for if I can't make the game myself (I will be allowing them to use them FOC). Me too, as I think that is the most effective way of 'recycling' my ticket. The chances of a random spot check being implemented and discovering...

Surely Royalty points are proof that fans have attended less attractive fixtures and supported the team? Forcing fans to buy tickets to two games when they may not be able to attend the second one isn't much of a reward. Whilst I agree the system is flawed, no-one's been forced to buy tickets for b...

So lets think about this one then? 'We'll buy back all the tickets from Season ticket holders who can't (or don't want to ) go to a game for which we already have plenty of spare tickets for sale' - 'Oh, and we''ll offer cash, even though these people have paid up in order to commit themsleves to at...

How many Charlton seats will remain unoccupied (from people who don't want them but had to buy in order to get a Man Utd ticket)? Probably loads- which might indicate that the club fcuked up again? :D This linking system is being used because we want to ensure that tickets for the most popular game...

The link is to the club request for sponsorship, not the normal hospitality packages - surely?
