Re: RUMOUR - Andrew Surman

Darius Henderson, Nathan Tyson, Adrian Williams, Scott Taylor, Stuart Lovell etc etc etc Well, Henderson was flogged off down the divisions as was Tyson, despite moderate success since neither is a 46 start a season player (yet alone a 38 game a season starter ;) ) The later three would be better e...

Re: Coppell aims for new signings

Craig Mackail-Smith for me. First read that as Craig Maskall :D We could do with buying another striker, or even just getting someone in on loan might do the job, Harewood perhaps? Other then that perhaps just try one last time to bury the hatch with Lita and give him a chance as there's little poi...

Re: First Reading game?

Reading vs Oldham in the FA Cup in 1995, went with my Dad and sat on the wall at the front of the Tilehurst end. We lost 3-1 but Scott Taylor scored so it was alright.

Re: Lita staying at Norwich

Deathy
Norfolk Royal No way should we sell Lita for 500k. Surely we could get more than that for him. Also, Norwich haven't got a pot to piss in so he won't be going there.

Not when he's off on a free transfer in the summer we wont.

500k is superb business.

Re: Where's Bobby going?

I remember seeing Bobby away at Villa away in the first season of the Premiership and he just seemed to have lost something. It's interesting how he didn't get a proper pre season that year (World Cup) and struggled just as he did in his first season here when he didn't have a full pre season (after...

Re: if tony pulis called you

I'm pretty happy with Hunt v07/08 Kitson V.05 - Middlesbrough was fantastic, he was hungry having come from Cambridge and really seemed to love being here. But the Premiership went to his head, he got injured and generally didn't seem the same player again. Selling him for £5,000,000+ was a great bi...

Re: Cureton Back Saturday

You could argue it was before, his goalscoring record in the 01/02 campaign up to his injury didn't exactly set the world alight. Though he did score at Northampton away which was probably a small turning point in the season with Kev Watson & John Salako making their RFC debuts 8) That Northamp...

These threads just annoy me, for a start I have to believe that if you're hanging around this forum you're probably one of the people singing in the first place so telling people to make noise isn't likely to have much impact  Besides for every 'Stoke are great because of their fans' there are...

Re: Reality check

I won't pretend I've seen every game this year, I'm stuck in Cornwall so my opinions are based on highlights, radio and reviews but this season reminds me of 00/01. At times Cureton and Butler are banging in goals for fun and looking like we own the division, only to come unstuck against far weaker ...
