Re: Gunter

I couldn't agree more that England have massively under achieved over the years but if Gunter is the best right back Wales has to offer, remove Bale and you've got a national team that would struggle in the Championship. Well Bobbs has pointed out a few flaws in your argument. I'd say that it's not...

Re: Team for Norwich (H)

What I'd like (sounds like Swift and Obita are out) Mannone Gunter Moore Ilori Blackett Evans Kelly Bacuna Aluko Bod Barrow what I think we'll get Mannone Gunter Moore McShane Blackett Joey Edwards Bacuna Aluko Bod Beerens the top list certainly looks a lot more solid to me too, i would be happier ...

Re: In or Out?

I think the most frustrating this is you can see how good we can be. Even that last 10 against Hull, we were actually pretty excellent and could have scored a couple - creating chances, running into space, good shape etc last night, though didn't watch - we obviously had a good chance when we had t...

Re: In or Out?

he should stay but learn and learn very quickly. The system itself is actually ok, and when used properly can be very effective. However! what is currently happening is that we are having lovely possession at the back (great) but when we go to move it forward there is NO MOVEMENT from the midfield ...

Re: Sam Smith or Jon Dadi Bodvarson

JDB has played one effing game in front of the home fans, it`s sickening he`s being dismissed off by many after 90 minutes. This... don;t forget he was man of the match against Birmingham with a great display and a goal. If you take away his misses in front of goal against Bristol (which were truly...

Re: Is the idea of a striker flawed? Does Stam believe in total football?

Look at the way Liverpool play, Arsenal and teams like Barca all drive from midfield, i genuinely think this system can work too with the fluidity of midfield, the hold ups from Bod up top and runners arriving into the box. Another centre forward would have been great and who knows maybe January we...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Really enjoyed that. Jaakola - fine Rimonhota - incredible industry to win a few balls he had no right to. A few questions over his passing and positioning. Ilori - fine Evans - good goal, best game from him all season. Very important for getting the ball up the pitch. Axel - he's come on leaps and...

Re: matchwatch : reading v vitesse arnhem (at adams park, 3pm)

Looking forward to seeing the new signings in action. Also interested to see what system we will play whether it is 3 at the back or not and whether it is a more intense speed of play and slightly more aggressive going forward.

Re: Rumour - Naki wells

People have to realise the prices of players are ridiculously high due to premiership money that is around. Unfortunately this is filtering down to the championship as well. Nonsense values for players are being banded about and paid. Having said that i would love to see Wells join at a reasonable p...

Re: RUMOUR: Gunter to Boro

In general he is a solid player, you pretty much get a 6 sometimes 7 out of ten performance every game. it would be nice to see him add to his game in an attacking sense, we all know he is probably capable of taking it up a notch

Re: Newcastle (H) Team and Predictions

I would stick obita in front of blackett. i.e play them both. The main issue and this is why blackett gets slammed is because beerens doesn't do any defensive work at all, so time and time again blackett is left exposed. So while he isn't great all the time i don't actually blame him that much for s...

He genuinely wasn't given enough time with us, its a shame and i think he would actually do fairly well in the setup we have now. really nice guy as well always positive about us even though he didn't get much game time.

Re: Are The Youngsters Being Frozen Out?

The point being Samuel didn't get a go when we were not scoring. Lets focus on the here and now. Last season he hot injured again and the went on loan, so wasn't really available. Do his performances this season warrant taking Kermie's place? Not by most accounts of those 'who've seen him play. Yes...

Re: Team for Barnsley (A)

Is Dominic Samuals injured? just wondering why he isn't even on the Bench. I like him over Mendes, i don't think Mendes has impressed Samuel has been less than impressive in the few games he has played for the U23s and in the CheckOutaLowCrowd Trophy so it is unsurprising that he is not even making...
