Re: Exeter v Reading FC PreSeason Friendly

BFTM and I have to say that we are in deep doo doos if we are having to rely on these players for the rest of the season. If it wasn't for Andersen in goal in the second half the Exeter youngsters would have easily scored two or three. We need to wake up and smell the coffee. Sir Mad has let a goal...

If people are "exercising their right not to buy", then what the oxf*rd are they moaning about the price for?

Dellor was confident something would happen on Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday. He's as clueless as the rest of the ITK gang.

Re: Buyout

So CS and AO don't take a wage anymore and arent employed by the club at all, but still own 51% of the club? Have no idea what is going on! Presumably they've resigned (Although why they have done so considering their payouts is beyond me?), not quite sure where it leaves any takeovers, but by the s...

He also cost us numerous goals. He has settled well in Bournemouth, a well known pensioner backwater.

Who turned Reading over 3-1 last night m8

Turns out the dedicator is on Twitter if anyone fancies him sending a tweet congratulating him on fine local journalism and the good sense not to issue an apology yet: @RCnewseditor I for one, Maurice, would like to congratulate you. Your beard makes you look like a hybrid between Santa Claus and Ji...

Re: Hooliganism at Reading

Have a friend at the Chronic who has been working there a while on the paper, turns out from what he has heard at work today that the editor apparently doesn't really think he's done much wrong and that it is going to sell papers. Not quite sure on the logic of the editor, who I have been told was h...

Similar to the ill fated Reading FC fans team. Which wasn't really part of "The Team" either.

If people are wanting to buy tickets and they want to know how many is left

Why? In case we sell out?

Barrowboy was full of Reading fans last time. Opens at 11am, but it wasn't cheap, over £4+ a pint in there for everything.

OUT as it's on tv. This. Also it's my least favourite London ground. Which TV station is carrying it? 3.30 pm is an odd kick off time for Sky or BT It's on Sky Sports. Where is everyone getting tickets for? Anybody know the difference between Silver and gold? Difference is Gold is in the centre, an...

Re: Kebe to Leeds on Loan

I'm guessing part of the reason Kebe has gone on loan is to play under McD again, unsurprising Kebe has joined up with him, and I'm unsure he'd have bothered doing so if it wasn't McD. Clearly enjoyed his football under him, never got a game with Adkins in charge I don't think once McD had left the ...

Ipswich is one of the few grounds I've been to, I genuinely cannot remember anything from inside the ground whatsoever. Distinctly bang average and bland probably led to that!

Royal Rother 75% aren't exceptions.

Exceptions to challenging for promotion, not actually getting promoted.

Re: Adkins to West Brom

Pretty much this; if a team gets relegated from the Premiership, they should by logic (It may not be the case 100% of the time) be a challenger for promotion the following season. There's exceptions of course, but a quarter of teams finishing in the top two in the last eight years have been relegat...

Re: Adkins to West Brom

Why do the three relegated clubs automatically become challengers? I'd say that parachute payments give you an unequal advantage over many of the other sides :?: LOL @ football, a sport run so badly that you have to give a 'Live Aid' style handout for teams which get relegated to save them from ine...

Re: Adkins to West Brom

Still not really getting why readingfanman seems to think that you have to finish in the top 2 to be one of the "challengers". I think there's a bit of a reading comprehension problem going on there. I would place a challenger for promotion as someone who finishes in the top 3 or 4. If yo...
