So good, it got posted twice. Am I the only one who thinks this is all a waste of time and energy given the ever-so-advanced state of the plans. And, no one is going to lose a seat because of this, some people might get moved. It just strikes me as whinging for the sake of it. Indeed! The team is 8...

for example to put executive boxes a few rows higher You just cant place these where ever you like !!! The structural design of the stadium has to be 1st priority in the positioning of the boxes and this includes the floor levels of the boxes. They haven't positioned them where they have just to pi...

It's through an external company, Zebra Finance, for the first time this season, so it's quite different from last year when it was done through the club.

I think it's payments spread over 10 monthly installments, plus there'll be a service charge as well - don't know yet what this will be.

Not his first day - this was in Elm Park in the 90s, when he'd been groundsman for quite a few years. It was in the mid-eighties (around 1984 I think). And I think it might have been when he took over as head groundsman. Are you sure? I could have sworn it was sometime in the 90's. Anyone got the d...

The money in Europe comes from the Campions League. I remember Newcastle's chariman complaining that UEFA cup football would cost the club money unless they made it to the second phase. We're never actually going to win anything ever again - the target every season will be survival, followed by a l...

The trouble is that this is what the Premier League is all about - survival! We're never actually going to win anything ever again - the target every season will be survival, followed by a lull once that's achieved as everyone winds down and players and their agents decide who's playing for who next...

Sunday October 1st - freezing cold day in the pissing down rain at West Ham. :?: It might have been pissing it down but was it really that cold? According to the Met Office it was 18C in Norfolk that day (no temps for London). Yes, because the convection effect when you're soaking wet will always m...

You're all assuming that this "hospitality area" will take the form of Executive Boxes like those on the West side. But as I understand them this is actually an area for East Stand ST holders (i.e. home fans only) to pay a little extra and have access to a nicer area than the concourses (e...

Why is it "a disgrace"?
Outrageous ticket prices are "a disgrace". Excessive bus fares or car park fees would be "a disgrace", because you need to pay to watch the match.

But this is a burger! If it's too expensive, don't buy it!
