Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

I wouldn't sack it off completely, can see against Cardiff why it can be successful and we weren't actually poor at Blackpool either with that shape, but I don't think it's the best thing to use if we don't have the players available to play it. Difference is with Ejaria and Ince going forward we c...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Need an enforcer at the back. Sarr and Hutchinson should help with this As much as Holmes and McIntyre are well liked, never been convinced of them in the same defence, they’re both dominated miles too easily I question whether they are up to championship football at all, especially Holmes Somethin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Well Guiness-Walker is in their half because Ince is playing wingbacks. In his defence, unlike Gomes, he is at least playing a third centreback to make up for it. But sadly, exactly as I previously described, you can't play that way with slow centre backs because you either play excessively deep or...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Just from the goals McIntyre deserves almost as much as Lumley. Yeah he's been shit. But the fact our defensive shape is so fragile a simple long ball is enough to carve us apart 4 times is crazy. What are Holmes and Guinness-Walker doing when they ball is played over the top?? Well Guiness-Walker ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

This is just not acceptable, even with the injury problems the players are largely experienced professionals and should not be caving in like this. Fear greatly for the club with Blackburn and Middlesbrough following next. Best option now might be to not bother coming out for the 2nd half and see i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Ascotexgunner
Simon's Church Aside from the goalkeeping, defending, shape and passing we haven't been all that bad

I can see Ince using that line in his post match interview.

It's all the refs fault.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Zip This is embarrassing. Lumley needs to be subbed at half time.
I think we need to accept a mistake was made and cancel his loan. We knew him bad he was and today confirmed it

Wait till you see Bouzanis play. Bond pt 2.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

Snowflake Royal Just as a reminder, we're losing 4-0 at half time to the team most people think will finish bottom.

Most people think we will finish bottom tbf.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

FYI those saying we didn't need pace in defence, that Washington goal at the near post is what happens, because he completely outpaced McIntyre. Should have absolutely been back but, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the central CB supposed to stay deeper in a back 3? Like, cover for situations exactl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a)

We saw the “highlights” package for Lumley and it was incredible how many shocking errors he made. This is a dreadful signing as a lot of us feared. I don’t see opposition teams gift us the goals that our keepers repeatedly gift to them. This is massively disappointing. He looked decent last week. ...

CountryRoyal
NewCorkSeth I mean, I knew we would concede early and be behind at half time but not by 3 oxf*rd goals..

Against fcuking Rotherham.

I honestly though we would go in 1-0 down and salvage a draw.
