Re: Playoff home semi and Are You Listening festival

I've booked a 2 week holiday driving around remote Scotland starting on the 10th, finishing with a wedding on play off final day on 25th. It shows how much this team has exceeded expectations, as it never crossed my mind it would clash with the play offs. I've been through lots of play off heartach...

Re: Rival Watch

Remaining fixtures Reading Lincoln (12th) H Mansfield (18th) A Bristol R (21st) A Barnsley (11th) H Seriously, I can see us winning AT LEAST 8 points from those fixtures; probably 10 and quite possibly 12. Might need to as, apart from playing Wycombe, Leyton Orient have a pretty easy run in. They d...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Snowflake Royal Jesus, how is Fletcher not interfering with play, he literally body checks Rushesha away from being able to challenge for the ball.

I thought my eyes must have been deceiving me but clearly not. Abysmal officiating there by the AR and ref!

Re: BFTG - 'boro

Having watched Charlie S's post match interview, he calls the manager 'Hunty'. Given that players tend to refer to their manager as 'boss' or 'gaffer', how do peeps view this? Over familiarity when, perhaps, things aren't going quite so well? Or a true sign of unity given the off field circumstance...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Interesting interview by Dellor with Savage after the game; basically the players feel less pressure and are able to play with more freedom than under Selles. Probably helps of course that he's starting every week. Will be interesting to see what Noel does when Elliott is fully fit. Yes, he seemed ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Don't want to be sexist but that lineswoman was pretty shocking, no? No. IMO she was better than many we have had. Got most of the calls right. And I was staggered at the number of fans giving her abuse for not flagging for a throw for us when part of the ball was still clearly touching the touchli...

Re: BFTG - 'boro

I fully expect us to be suspended from the 4th. May. so don't get your hopes up too much. The seventh place team will take our place as the EFL will not want a team winning the playoffs and not being in a position to take part the next season Besides getting to the playoffs, which we would have a f...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Royals and Racers Now guaranteed we finish in 8th, and that point today was the 1st points gained from any team other than the bottom 2.

Great result. Well deserved. Just shows what adding a little bit of quality can do for the whole team. If only we'd managed to get the sisters earlier in the season!

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Unless GCSE Maths has failed me, we're safe now, and will probably finish 8th (unless we win our last four and have results go our way to finish 7th). Between Selsey and Badshot Lea for bottom place - won't say relegation spot, as there always seems to be clubs dropping out at various levels, and o...

Royals and Racers 567 at Adams park last evening- decent crowd.

STAR newsletter: We have a meeting with the Club next week about season tickets and ticket pricing. We will let you know the outcome. Can't see there being a price increase. Or certainly not a significant one - maybe £25 or something. . I guess they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They ne...

Re: Season Tickets 25/26

If the takeover happens I will, otherwise I don't think I can put myself through the mess of what next season will be. Will renew, and then miss enough games next season to totally remove the financial incentive. But I reckon I'd make 4 games a season without one. A mix of both of the above apply t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h)

Poor game. Savage MOM, Abrefa and Bindon good, everyone else bang average. Ref inept as usual. A point is the most we deserved. +1 It was a poor game but there were 2 occasions where we played some absolutely quality football in between the dross. I do wonder what it is with these refs that blow fo...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game - 24/25 page 225 onwards

From Despair To Where? I've seen reports, admittedly from Wrexham sources, suggesting Smith was £700k up front, £2m. with add ons.

I'm not sure a mere £700K up front would've been sufficient to keep us afloat for the duration required.

So transfer markt reckon Wrexham have spent 4.96M euro on transfer fees this season.
