Re: Arsenal Away - 3rd March 07- Ticket Details UPDATED

Not bad and no change in Points bands which is very good news I would have preferred a change in points band. Make the first day for those with >700 points, second day >650 points, so that we don't have too many people clogging up the queue... We asked for this at a recent meeting with the club and...

It's probably bullshit because the Chairman has got quite a big ego but......... ........apparently he didn't want the stadium named after him, it was decided for him. :? He named it after his adoptive father. Correctamondo. Otherwise we'd be playing in the John Smith Stadium  It would actua...

I think the club are right to look at increasing the capacity, but we should be continuing to build as a club steadily. 38,000 is way in excess of what we need and is a big risk that we do not need to take. 30,000 maybe, & then say in 5 years look at increasing again. And I agree with most of w...

We all get on well together, English, Irish, Welsh, French and Icelandic. Er, as far as I know we have no French players in the 1st team squad. Perhaps he should have said Africans instead. Sonko's pretty much French. Born in Senegal, but moved to France when he was six months old. In most ...

there were empty seats on Saturday so whats the point in having a 38,000 capacity? In order to gain new regular supporters (not those that come to just the big matches), we need to have the capacity to allow them to come to the big matches. So, I would imagine that initially after the expansion, th...

The Guardian Controversy seems to follow Hunt, who was involved in the collision that resulted in a fractured skull for Chelsea's Petr Cech, but it is Gillespie and the Reading coach Wally Downes who may have most to fear from the FA. The way that reads to me is that Hunt should be fearing the FA a...

As usual RFC have their safety priorities totally the wrong way round. After every game there is some twat on a megaphone down the B&Q slope telling 20,000 people to "keep on the path, there are buses coming through". No you fool, make the buses wait 5 mins until the pedestrians clear...

The summer after we lost in the 1995 play-off final was the worst. Having to watch Shaka, Osborn and Taylor leave was heartbreaking! And to think, Osborn moved to QPR, who were a "bigger" club at the time...! Since those left, I would say I've been most disappointed to lose Linvoy Primus,...

Royalphil You could say... er, you did :D .... that the 'also' is inert, in a sentance with an 'and'; however, in this case, it clarifies that two linked subjects in context are seperate in content and chronology......

Re: Are STAR going to do anything to help those banned?

Regardless of people's opinions, if it's against the stadium's rules, the club needs to enforce it. Whose rule is it that we're not allowed to stand? The stadiums or the F.A.'s? What's the argument for this rule anyway. If you have a like minded section of the crowd that want to stand (in front of ...

Re: Are STAR going to do anything to help those banned?

Standing/swearing/taking photos/ are not banning offences in my opinion. Well, I'd say seriously persistent offending should result in a formal/written warning... then escalating bans, perhaps. Regardless of people's opinions, if it's against the stadium's rules, the club needs to enforce it.[/quot...
