Re: Homophobia in football

Also Tyler is an intelligent and educated footballer and thinks about what he says, like Kitson used to surprise people by sounding erudite and intelligent when speaking, this doesn’t fit the expectation especially “oop north”. And being still stuck in the 1960s these idiots still equate a public s...

Re: Homophobia in football

This should really be titled Homophobia in MEN'S football as homosexuality is accepted in the Women's game - see this story from the BBC for example: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5ypxqn93d0o Will be a long time before you see an equivalent for two male players Why are they even re...

Re: Homophobia in football

It’s twitter & FB  They’re packed full of 14-18 year old bellends who haven’t grown up and think saying things like this makes them look hard and “edgy”. And no-one over 25 still uses FB really, it’s where your mum goes to see if she can find people she went to school with and practice “te...

Would rather him than Meite. Me too. He always looked like a very good player against us. He's also a southern lad and not very far from his roots. He could well be tempted here. Good memory! He started a couple of games against us for Blackpool 3 years ago! Has had £4m in transfer fees spent on hi...

Gus the teenage cow bang average signing, I've been more excited at mandatory health & safety sessions.

I'll let Rob know, you might be useful at the club's next H&S meeting.

Re: Kamari Doyle

Brogue I’m hearing we are interested in Kamari Doyle from Brighton also. 19, midfielder, 7 goals in 21 games for Crawley last season whilst on loan there.

Should have an understanding with O’Mahoney with a bit of luck then.

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

Apparently Alec Lundberg (the club’s new Financial Officer) has been talking to the FL and the club are now confident that the 5/6 days delay process in getting signings approved by them will be “truncated” a little as of today.

Re: confimred - Finley Burns

I'm going for Darmstadt's Fraser Hornby. 25yo, 6ft5, Scottish striker. Came through Everton academy. By all accounts a model professional , although possibly gone slightly off the rails more recently. unless he's expressed a desire to join us I'd rail against this signing As long as he knows his st...
