Re: The run in.

Our last 7 games have produced 12 points, albeit the wins were at the start and the games easier on paper than our last 7, if we repeated that over the remaining games it would mean 75 points. That may or may not be enough.... looking back most seasons it would be, but anything goes from now on in, ...

Re: The run in.

Very similar, but can't see us getting a result v Cardiff Derby (h) W Rooney tends to rotate with 2 games in quick succession and they are looking safer. Straightforward win Watford (a) L Can't see anything here Cardiff (h) L We've struggled since Christmas against long ball sides, and they are a ma...

Re: Worst ever Reading FC miss

I'm sure Ollie Kearns used to miss sitters every week (that's how it felt) but would then score a difficult chance in the same game

Re: Rival Watch

Games getting harder and harder to predict with Cardiff, Swansea and Brentford (currently) losing to sides in the bottom 8 and Norwich drawing to a side hopelessly out of form

i've really no idea how this will all pan out

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

So that means Norwich is the only remaining Saturday 3pm game, assuming they change the time for the last game.

Anyone know how much Sky pay to cover a live game?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

This is a game to try out the false fall back role that Pep uses to help overcome the high press.

Seriously - I just think we will win this, narrowly, as the game is massive for both sides and I think with the rest and prep we have better players than Barnsley at the end of the day.

Re: Ex -Player Podcasts (Cureton/McShane)

Parky interview available on the The Tilehurst End site Interesting what he said about the Tommy Burns era, thought we'd have had a much better chance of staying up by making slight amendments using the existing players rather than the 8 deadline day signings. Difficult one - confidence was shot to...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Probably not the right thread but read an article on line from Rod Liddle (Sunday Times) re the promotion race where he bigs up Barnsley (underdogs etc - I get that) but then starts talking about the other sides....re us he says "Reading - Lucas Joao excepted - are awful" goes on to say we...

Re: Ex Players

I get that Puscas has not been an unqualified success, but I wouldn’t call him a failure in the way the interview suggests he is. They criticise his production this season yet fail to point out he's been out injured for 5 months. We were first linked with Puscas about 2 years before we signed him. ...

Article of Bowen criticising aspects of Puscas’ signing https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/mark-bowen-issues-honest-thoughts-on-reading-fcs-signing-of-george-puscas/ I don’t think his overall assessment of him is particularly wrong https://mobile.twitter.com/secondtierpod/status/1374981518637010947 ...
