Re: Pubs for Wembley

Can't understand why so many Reading 'fans' seem to think that drinking on match day is so important. I reckon half of the people at Charlton yesterday would not of gone if they could not get a drink. If I wanted to have a few beers on a Saturday I would rather just stay in the local rather than so...

Re: Guthrie gone

Never been a consistent first team regular anywhere in his career, he is a fat Black Country pikey tosser Go on say what you really mean Player with a fair bit of skill, that we never seemed to get the best out of. This season in the few appearances he has made , he's looked hopelessly unfit and of...

Re: What is the point in HRK

There we go just shows what he can do when he can be bothered to move his big arse. That was probably his best game since prem days, so what has happened in the meantime, he's been cruising

Re: What is the point in HRK

I thought he did put a shift in. He just didn't affect much going forward. We seemed to have more joy down the right and focused there. Hal probably should have stucke left more, but it was him overloading the right that led to Mackie's cross and Pog to hit the post. I wouldn't expect a player not ...

What is the point in HRK

On Saturday Hal was the only player to not put in a shift, everyone else worked their arses off. I know he's scored a couple in this cup run but the last three home games and the Bradford game he has been completely anonymous, especially when we have the likes of Mcleary and Cox and even Blackman on...

Re: When was the last Football Special?

We went up to Sunderland in 1973 in the FA Cup on a special, drew 1-1 up there Les Chappell or Dicky Habbin goal and got dicked 3-0 in the replay. Have a photo somewhere on front page of the Evening Post of the train setting off, god it was along journey, but a good crack

Re: BFTG - Leeds

Whilst I agree that we were poor, none more so than Blackman (left wing seems to be doomed to failure this season with either HRK or Blackman turning in woeful performances), I actually thought Leeds after the opening quarter of an hour were a good side, they knocked it about far better than us, see...

Re: Leeds

Well have to say Leeds support last night was magnificent, They haven't been doing well and to bring circa 2500 away for a tuesday is good going. As for our support it was pathetic no songs and all we could do was boo when Leeds started singing their anthem, why not get a good chant going rather tha...

melonhead HRK has the biggest arse in English football. FACT

HRK also reminds me of one of the Wizard of Oz characters either the Tinman who needed a heart, or the Cowardly Lion who needed some courage, which of them had the biggest arse i'm not sure

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

phucking christ. the guy was a cut above, running his socks off surrounded by useless players providing no service. Going back to Palace will be a breath of fresh air for him, he'll flourish. good luck to him Agreed. He didn't have to run around aimlessly for 95 minutes to be trying. He used his en...

Re: Hal-Robson Kanu

i think his performance got a lot of unjustified stick. he's far more aware of his duties defensively than what he was, which might be impinging his attacking game a little bit. He definately does a lot more dirty work than he used to, like tracking his full back and making tackles. Think back to t...

tee peg Or a smaller arse......

This is something they need to check when signing new players.

He would make a good Kingsley

I don't think he's fit enough to be Kingsley, you need a lot of stamina and running for that role

Re: Hal-Robson Kanu

Going forward he's pretty average, but the rest of his game is appalling, he looks so unfit , twice on Saturday after running back to cover his midfield opponent he was puffing and looked absolutely knackered. Also he doesn't seem to read their attacks and therefore gets bypassed most of the time, p...

Xenophobic would be the word to use.

Not that I think it was.

I think we've all lost the point here, Pog is still crap and a money grabbing leech on our wonderful club, whatever nationality he is

Please please get this useless Russian off our payroll and out of our club, he's just a money grabbing leech The unnecessary use of 'Russian' in that sentence outs you as a casual racist - I'd rather you were out of the club. I am a lot of things but casual rascist is not one, on the other hand som...

Re: Should we sign Murray permanently?

yes,as long as we can get him for around the £1m. He leads the line very well holds the ball up well, and brings others into the game. He also jumps well and is a pain to mark, unlike our other two number 9s, pog n hrk

great player and suggesting he's done nothing for us is harsh, he has always put in a shift. Love to see him get a run in the team, system aside you cant have a team with Blackman in it and not Pog The only point I agree with you on is that he's probably as good as Blackman, but then so am I Pog a ...

Mr.Swainey I'd much rather have Royston show 5 minutes of quality than Hal Robson-Kanu stealing a living.

Totally agree, Hal must look good in training to get the amount of chances he's had

Re: The truth about Royston...

Forbury Lion If we can get Royston off the books and free up some wages for a central defender we should, even if that means shipping him off on loan somewhere and only recovering half of his wages.

Apparently Wednesday are only paying a quarter of his wages, we're picking up the rest
