Re: Coronavirus outbreak

There are obviously some problematic areas but don't be fooled in to thinking we are immune. Have you ever once in your life even checked the data? This is just a bizarre logic. What are we even talking about now? we are talking about you consistently spouting un- researched nonsense. educate yours...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

UNICEF Yeh and where do you think the majority of those deaths come from? Italy and Spain? Or countries with atrocious healthcare? Countries which as of yet haven't even started with this virus. There are obviously some problematic areas but don't be fooled in to thinking we are immune. Have you ev...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

its not scary at all. long way to go to catch up with 1.8 million kids under 5 dying. 37,000 infected in Germany, 200 deaths. Stop scaremongering. Not a big increase at all. See my edit above. Where does your figure of 1.8 million kids under 5 dying come from? UNICEF Yeh and where do you think the ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

when this is over and the death toll remains well under 500,000 I hope you donate to some worthy causes. but by then the risk to YOU will be over, so hey ho, back to normal and ignore all the other horrific death rates that could at the very least be reduced If the death toll remains under 500,000 ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

krapmle quite frankly its all a load of bollocks

deaths this winter from flu = 112,934

say what you want snowball, you have a long way to go.

Why do you keep comparing it to winter flu?

deaths last year from stabbings = 90.

See its very dangerous. /s

Re: Ex -Player Podcasts (Cureton/McShane)

listened to the McShane one. Was pretty interesting. Basically without giving spoilers, said he was constantly injured for much of the last 2 years, hence why he was rubbish when he did play Nothing too juicy, though was very very critical of the recruitment policy over the last couple of years, wi...

Certainly flattened. I think that is good news other than it still being a horrific number.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

So really from today on wards we should see some impact of the lock down in Italy?

Even a relatively unstrict lockdown should have a decent impact on numbers, assuming a majority had some level of isolation i.e just going to supermarket and working from home.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Germany has 3 X more ICU beds per head of population than the UK also I know Germany's healthcare is essentially private similar to the US setup although subsidised and far more reasonably priced. Is that compared to the UK's ICU beds at just NHS hospitals or private as well, which have now been ta...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

You cant compare it to flu. I did at first, I didnt understand. If someone who has underlying health conditions gets this its curtains whatever their age. I'm pretty sure no 18 year old has died from a bout of the flu. I've never had flu but I'm shitscared of this thing. Seeing as I have a heart sc...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Is there any scientific evidence on how safe eating takeaway food is? I assume the biggest risk is packaging and delivery driver. Don't know if it answers my question but reports McDonalds are shutting all UK stores from tomorrow indefinitely. Surely this is huge? It appears to be in response to no...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

For those who think "This is just SARS Mk II" The UK reached 281 dead today that times 3 is 743 SARS in the whole of the outbreak, worldwide killed 770 The UK alone will pass the total worldwide SARS deaths, so can we now agree this is on a scale barely imagined before? ==================...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

And that's bearing in mind they openly admit their method of recording numbers will allocate a fair chunk of covid deaths to other causes. Not just the Chinese. There are people in Old People's homes getting sick and dying with the exact CV19 symptoms, without being tested, without being logged as ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

China has a population of 1.4 billion yet suffered only 3,261 deaths so far. Panic leads to irrational decision making. between 250,000 and 600,000 have been dying of flu each year for many years and we do nothing. Without understanding how many people have actually been infected (not just tested) ...
