Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by first half away goal search

Crotts Why has Bacuna who has been 'man of the match' in his only two appearances as right back been moved from right back again ?

Presumably moving to midfield as Joey is injured.

Re: Kermorgant

He and the club must be pleased with his condition post-injury, so this is a great sign. I was sceptical about how much use he'd be coming back from injury, but he obviously believes he can get on with it, and if the club concurs who am I to disagree?

Superb pass by Swift to set up the counter, and just now a superb save by Mannone!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by fat ladies being asked about their availability

I walked out after 70 minites. Utter rubbish from reading and stam. Good bye and good riddince. Worst football I have ever seen in 27 years of supporting reading no wonder why I decided to support another team. Terrible manager and terrible football. The club should refund fans for these performanc...

alfie9 Kermorgant slams a 6-yard shot over the bar.

Why has God abandoned us

I mean, he is 35, back from a long layoff and retiring in 7 months. I'd be surprised if he gets into double figures.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by fat ladies being asked about their availability

Stam will be gone by tonight surely.... I like the guy and respect his efforts but the team don't want to play for him Not on this display I don't think. We were playing well for 10mins... Boro goal. Second half, grow into it and start to pile on pressure after Barrow comes on...Boro goal. There's ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by fat ladies being asked about their availability

Was just about to post that we looked pretty good, and then Boro score. It was the £15 million man Assombalonga tbf, but frustrating that we completely undermined a good period of play. Edit: Both Boro goals sucker punches really. But makes Forest a must win for we, even if I'm a glass half full sup...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by fat ladies being asked about their availability

Don't get the negativity. I thought it's been alright. We are really fighting and going forward. It's an even scrap ATM and we have had numerous chances. This is 10x better than against Hull and some other games Agreed. Sam Smith is doing no worse than Bod, having a striker is making a difference.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by fat ladies being asked about their availability

Watching on iFollow, we looked half decent for the first 10 mins or so, really pegging Boro back and they didn't really get a sniff. Then with really their first attack a cross skited its way to Assombalonga who tried to control it and Joey shoved him. Looked a bit soft but no replays so I don't kno...

Snowflake Royal Ilori off for Blackett... injury related?

According to BBC - yes. Marvelous.

Moore and Ilori jumped into eachother and clashed heads. Ilori stretchered off with a visibly gashed head.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by a deep dark realisation that this way creeps

He didn't play 4-4-2. Be grateful for your thoughts on the formation - Sporting Life and BBC had 4-4-2 but you were there so I'd reckon your analysis would be more accurate. TIA. I wasn’t there, but Stam said on the radio that we played 4-3-3, so I kind of trust him on the matter. Would make sense ...

What formation/s were we playing? Heard some on here rejoicing at a 4-4-2 but I couldn't tell.

Pretty promising stuff, have sprung some good counterattacks with purposeful passing.

Re: Stam's comments - only a matter of time now

oxf*rd me, he needs to work on his interview technique. He's not helping the club or himself with this shit. Anyone who has spent time around Dutch people will tell you that they can be very blunt, which can often come across as rude to us Brits who are used to understatement and discreet euphemisms.

A good wee period of pressure there. But it has been noticeable again in this game how we could do with someone on the end of crosses.
