Point taken and if we are doing 'Greatest English Players to play for Reading' I suppose Martin Peters should be in it

I think it has to be competitive first team games...

Are the tickets on general sale ?
If so you won't need member cards for an away game, just pay cash and get the tickets
If they aren;t then you need 1 card with the right number of points for each ticket - just the card, not the actual person.

No, thats my question to you. If the idiosyncracies of Schards and his missus frustrate you so much, you really arent going to lose any face by just leaving them be. Otherwise you might just end up on their level. So they consider digs to personal. And....? Good point. Indeed, and worthy of reflect...

I'd point out that what Howe said is not really any different to what Peter Kenyon says, or comes out of the Emirates and just about any club. Obvioulsy with some subtle changes to suit circumstances. I'm not sure that becasue McCabe talked about buying clubs in China or Sheff Utd's property portfol...

Matty Upson at centre half surely. Last time we had this discussion there was a lot of debate as to whether loan players were eligible. Depnds on whether it is 'Greatest English players to play for Reading' or 'Greatest ever English Reading players'. Upson was probably the former, but not the latte...

We've also got links with people who live and work in various places. Can't recall his name but there is an English ex pro who lives in France and scouts for us (Ty Gooden ?). We've also got people in Scandanavia. McDermott and Hammond do travel (McDermott was at the last African Nations), their tri...

Seems to have significant interest in a number of clubs. Could this potentially fall foul of ownership rules. None of them have any conflict with us - the only tenuus one would be with the Swedish football team but other people own multiple European sides I believe so of no concern. However I don;t...

Rubbish. The only Englishman to play regularly at centre half for Reading in the top division. Get some perspective. Just because you - like me - want him out of the team at the moment, doesn't change the difference between where we are now and where we've been. So Harper must get in ahead of Webb ...

go through the lists of all the teams with good home support, where does the noise come from?? Including Portsmouth where most of their noise is generated from beihnd the goal. But that's just because traditionally the area behind the goal was terrace (and cheaper) and to the side was seated (and m...

shadesrwrf LOL @ anybody who seriously believes ticket prices will go down if we're relegated.

I'll take the LOL then. Whilst the club may take the 'you get more games' line I would strongly suggest that if they asked £545 for a Championship ST here may be a small drop in demand for tickets...

It's about having your vocal fans all together all behind the goal . Why ? We have NEVER had our noisy fans behind a goal. Why break with many years of tradition ? Put Pompey fans in a new stadium, in the middle of nowhere, with little drinking facilitiy then scatter all their fans around their new...

Not going to repeat myself but if Reading (who have never been a big club) are to join the likes of Spurs or Villa in terms of 'size' they've got to be succesful. They've got to win domestic cups, get better every season, established PRem side that is NEVER going to go down, a team that is going to...
