Re: The a result of the Day Thread

Newcastle scoring in 94th and 95th minute to rescue a 2-2 draw away to Everton has to be considered as well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by Neil Webb

Hound Seems a bit of noise around Matty Cash and AC Milan

Hopefully it will distract him, thought he was very good against us last time

Looks like Saints are interested now as well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by Neil Webb

Wasn't confident going into the Preston or Fulham games and I am not confident going into this one. As with those two, will consider a point a bonus. Well, we’ve got a chance if you’re not going   I am staying well away from this one. Better mark your cards for 4th April though (Luton) :?

Re: Rival Watch

This promotion race reminds me of the one we were involved in during 08/09, except with 2 runners instead of 3. Up until January, it was only ever going to be 2 from Wolves, Birmingham or us, until we all lost form and there were several teams in the mix. Interestingly, Wolves and Brum still went u...

Re: ArsenaLOL

I have a soft spot for Arsenal. All of my family are Arsenal supporters except for an uncle that supports Chelsea. That Martinelli fella looks very good. How did nobody else spot him? 6 million. Absolute steal. And Arsenal, imo, are slowly building up some very good players. They have a solid GK, s...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Luke Southwood has signed a new contract until the summer of 2021 and has re-joined Hamilton on loan until the end of the season. Good stuff - best move for him imo. Will be ready to be number 2 next season. Can only assume he has been told he will be #2 at worst next year and will be first choice ...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I do think we should be looking at McIntyre as first choice next season. Southwood as no.2. Olise, Howe and Richards in the 18 every week. Possibly Holsgrove. Rino first 11. That'd be a decent return. Hamilton seem chuffed to have Southwood back which is good to see With McIntyre, I think a lot wil...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Franchise FC And just seen the current poll which puts Man Utd 1999 above Arsenal’s Invincibles and Man City’s Centurions.
Why have I wasted my time on this

Totally different styles, but I think the Man Utd team of 98-99, would give pretty much anyone a run for their money. That team was pretty damn good.

Matchday Review Part 1: The Day An early start. 10 am at the end of London Bridge. The Den is little under an hours walk away. But first, a bacon butty at Maria's Cafe, Borough Market. Bubble and squeak doing a roaring trade, so a mental note made. Brewery #1: Southwark Brewery https://whatpub.com/...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Tbf it's not like they lost the lead late on, was so nearly a defeat - but yeah, had they won that game they'd be on a slightly ridiculous 31 consecutive wins. I was getting a bit worried that one of United's players was actually going to get an equaliser off his arse yesterday, not because i...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

he is an absolute monster if it is true that he has a €60M buy out clause in his contract (kicking in from June 2021 i think) then he is going to have his pick of clubs too Dortmund still turn a €40m profit on that though. They do indeed (minus wages and any extra's). My point was that €60M is noth...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

20 minute hat-trick! He's ridiculous, isn't he? 31 in 23 games now this season, with a goal every 48 minutes. I'd like to see Norway make it through the Euro 2020 play-offs just to see him at the tournament. he is an absolute monster if it is true that he has a €60M buy out clause in his contract (...
