Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

Interesting comments from Rowett - claiming that being made to change and give teamwalk in horrible facilities was extra motivation for his side. Doesn't sound like a very Reading thing to do. Yes I saw that - no one else has moaned though. Colin won't be impressed on Sat then after what he said af...

Re: Rival Watch

70 could well be enough - from 7th down to 15th there are 3 points difference, and all these teams have mid table records so in my view Cardiff are no ore than a threat than say Preston, they've just picked up some points from winnable games.

Outside the top 6 the league is very mediocre

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

On a different point, why was the Brentford game played on Wednesday and not Tuesday? Surely as a rearranged game we would have had the main say as the home team but this seems to have suited Brentford more than us as they are playing today. Rowett admitted after the game their tactics played on us ...

Re: Rival Watch

If boro and Cardiff average 2 points a game they will finish on 74 points, (bear in mind only the present top two are averaging that this so it`s a very big ask) we need 27 points from 17 at 1.59 points a game. 9 wins, 8 wins and 3 draws or whatever combination, it`s not looking all doom and gloom ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

windermereROYAL We managed ok when Swift was missing before Christmas. I would say Meite is a bigger miss.

Agreed - being assessed weekly according to Pauno, so assume its a minor groin strain, usually 2 weeks out max so hopefully back for Boro.

Can't see anyone buying Swift with his injury record, hamstring has gone again according to Pauno - out for 6 weeks

Re: Rival Watch

Bournemouth very disappointing considering the players they have and they can't blame injuries either at the moment.

Good start to the weekend with that result and last night's.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

Completely understand re Yiadom, just back from long term injury and a compressed run of games coming up, Holmes gives us more height too and they will lump balls in to the box as always.

Don't get Richards decision though.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

This will be a difficult game as it always is against them, good away record with 5 wins, could be our first home draw of the season. Yes - I'm thinking a draw, then hopefully win at Bristol with their injury crisis. On the subject of injuries Puscas has posted a pic on twitter suggesting he's not ...

Re: Rival Watch

How teams at this level still have games postponed for having a frozen pitch is a disgrace really.............Rotherham's ground is virtually brand new FFS! At the design stage did no-one think to install undersoil heating? Or did they discuss it, and it was thought that it never gets that cold in ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

Play as we have in the last 2 home games and we will be out of sight by half-time. Any downer from a close game and this becomes hard work. I trust VP to get the mental side right. Hope you are right but this is quite an important game. Win comfortably and it will be hard to imagine us falling out ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (h)

I'm sure Pauno said we'd come out of Stoke with no more injuries so hopefully just precautionary for both of them...there are a lot of games now, this is the most compressed run for the rest of the season with 4 successive mid week games.
