Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

disagree- think he got plenty of players improving Ermm.. Al-Habsi - I'll give you that.. though that's probably down to our GK coach. Genuinely can't think of another player who's got better since McD came back in... ...Cox? # cox, gunter, piazon all showed big improvements for me. Gunter? If you ...

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

Agreed its not just about success on the pitch. The club must try and understand its the whole match day experience that frankly those on the Board due to their special status probably are not even aware of. - it starts with getting into the ground. Have the Board ever tried to drive to the ground a...

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

So my ticket goes up and justified by this: In the Upper West, adult season ticket renewals are to rise by £25 – but incorporated in that small increase will be a range of both simple and complex renovations that will be in place at the start of next season and will serve to enhance those fans’ matc...

Re: It it worth buying a sesaon ticket for 2016/7

I fly over from The Netherlands to watch the dross currently served up by a team that currently couldn't give a toss. In fact I make more effort getting to the game than most of the players do during it at the moment. The only reason I'd re new my season ticket is because I have a half decent seat a...

Re: Jack Mansell - RIP

Sad news. I still remember buying the programme in those days with his column "Jack Mansell talks frankly". I don't know why but it has stuck in my mind. Also the 8-0 v Southport I remember the Bobby Williams goal and again I have no idea why it seems so random - then seeing Best, Charlton...

Re: Tight old Reading

Where we do seem keen to invest as a club is on the training ground and the Academy. How much out of pocket cash has been spent on these two projects in the last 3-4 years? Putting the training ground spending aside for a moment, if we invest so much in the Academy why aren't the managers playing mo...

Re: HRK to Swansea

Clearly the club don't rate him as much as they did Gunter - maybe HRK's agent/brother has been bigging him up again. He may well get a move to a Prem side but bearing in mind he didn't even make the regular starting line of for RFC last season when we finished below mid table I doubt he'd get many ...

Re: RUMOUR - Paolo Hurtado

Getting rid and yet we allow HRK to put in poor performance after poor performance every week. Talk about players getting too comfortable due to lack of competition. :| :?: HRK has been one of our better players these past few weeks..... Yes you are right. And there is a clear pattern emerging with...

Re: Derby (a) Match Thread - Sponsored by Nick Blackman

Shaving seen the video of our goal I am amazed that anyone can be critical of HRK's involvement. He worked hard to get to the pass and hit a good cross to the right area. Yes, Williams put in a good shift to get there ahead of the defence but he'd have not had the opportunity but for HRK's work. Th...

genome How anyone can call any RFC season a write off in January, considering past achievements, is beyond me.

Have you actually been to any games recently?

Re: PA announcer

The current announcer is rubbish and treats the whole stadium as if we were all 7 years old (apologies to 7 year olds but you know what I mean). And can someone ask them to turn the bloody music down a touch pre game? I like it loud but not so we can't have a chat to the people next to us. I don't k...

Re: Welcome back Brian?

The only thing we can be sure about Gunter is that owing to Wales getting to Euro 2016 he will be pulling out of every 50:50 challenge that comes his way in the next 6 months to avoid any slight injury. Same goes for HRK

He'd be a fool to claim he was our best midfielder, can't recall him ever Starting a game in midfield. Unless you are a fan of the bizarre modern belief that a winger is a midfielder.... Modern? In a standard British 4-4-2, it always meant four defenders, four midfielders, two attackers. ...and two...

Re: What is the point in HRK

A couple of years ago, when his contract was up for grabs he was touting himself as the best midfielder that RFC had in the Prem (based on the number of goals he scored - most of which were late in the game when he came on and we were being hammered.) why can't he just get on with the feckin game an...

Re: What is the point in HRK

He reminds me more and more of Harper towards the end of his RFC career. Lots and lots of pointing, telling others where to go and what to do.

Big difference was that Harper more often than not put a real shift in so had time to point - HRK doesn't
