Royal Lady He doesn't leave his car there. I know that much. That's because he doesn't have a car though.

If I didn't have a car I wouldn't leave it there either!

[i]They have to charge a nominal amount, it helps to give them an idea of how many people are likely to turn up, how many staff to employ and what stands /car parks to open. Absolute, total baloney. How many stands to open up? The lower west holds, at a guess, around 4,000..... the crowd would neve...

Still no hint from Forbury Lion on why he thinks the FW car park is a dodgy place to leave your car. Come on, be helpful and let us know the inside info!

Forbury Lion Foster Wheeler isn't somewhere I would want to park and leave my car unattended

Why is that? It might help if we knew what the problem was up there. I thought that FW had security guards etc on site, but would be very interested to know if there is a known problem in that area.

There is no way that the town of Wokingham has a population of 150k, I could be persuaded to believe that Wokingham Unitary Authority (the old Wokingham District) has a population of that amount - and that includes Woodley and Earley. Similarly, the Borough of Reading has a pretty small population, ...

Anyone remember Phil Parkinson. Now there was a gentle chap who never picked up any cards at all. Always pussy-footed into tackles, never confronted opposition players, a real soft and lovable gent on the football pitch. Perhaps thats why no Reading fans revere him then? :? Phil Parkinson didn't go...

I don't think he put weedkiller on it. My recollection is that it was an over strong dose of grass fertiliser with a weedkiller content (a bit like the lawn feed and weed stuff you get for home garden use); he didn't dilute it sufficiently and hence the effect that ensued - a totally murdered pitch.

Anyone who thinks that Scott Murray was a desperation signing clearly wasn't around at the time. The club had been looking at him for quite some time, and spent an inordinate amount of time doing the deal. He was bought to fill a specific role (wide midfield, with some goals too), and it was a plann...

I've had to resend my application because it seems you never recieved according to yuor secrety, so how long will it be before I recieve anything back now? If it was filled out in the same language as this post it is hardly surprising it is not shown as having been received. I thought the applicati...

East Stand Ste - Huge hike in ticket prices with no concession for long term fans (i agree!)

Is that true? I thought that renewals were at a slightly cheaper rate than new tickets? That sounds like as much of a concession for long term fans as I would have expected.

Re: support to RFC & Seol from Seoul :)

Reading was never the capital of England in any shape or form. Whilst there is an urban myth that Hitler planned to make it the administrative HQ of a conquered Britain, (following the destruction of London), the nearest we have come to prominence is the temporary transfer of Parliament to the Abbe...

Ours is narrow because we chose to make it that way. The original Madejski pitch was about 2 - 3 m wider but AP asked for it to be made narrower in the 2000-01 season.

Unless there are 20,000 people booing every touch or moaning at the same time whenever something goes wrong I don't think it'll have much effect in what some people feel like saying. Despite the Mad House being a morgue all of last season our players still did alright. Yawn, we get the old 'morgue'...
