Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Sure John Smith will be along soon to pass comment, but on this occasion, I would agree - those who are just taking shit from C1871 should be banned from sitting there. They're effectively stealing. The only comment I'm here to make is that I saw a crowd of youngsters after the Blackburn game parad...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a)

Snowflake Royal Was just talking to a colleague about the game yesterday and she was telling me about the delights of going to Millwall including being spat on from above by loads of the crowd as they left.

Didn't happen

Snowflake Royal FYI YR isn’t involved in running the club.

Thank god for that!

Will be interesting to see how boisterous Club1871 are vs. Stoke when there's little scope for pints beforehand

Re: If money was no object...

Surprised there has not been more general interest in Paul Warne from other clubs in the last couple of years. He was actually my second choice behind Rowett initially as I believe he would do better with more resource. Money no object and your choice is Gary Rowett?! No wonder this club has gone t...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Actually stood watching the Spurs game before the match on the big screen in the fanzone bit and thought how nice it was - fans from both teams mixing, sitting around having a beer and just milling about Yeah, that was class. I'm guessing these are comments from fans that have come down on the coac...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Interesting comments from the Bristol City forum, do they not consider that they are potential relegation candidates alongside us? For me they are, they are bang average. Absolutely appalling club with a manager who no longer has a clue (used to, mind). They will be in League One in three year's ti...

Re: BFTG - Blackburn Home

How bad were Blackburn?! I thought they were one of the worst teams to visit last season then they turn up with a non-league striker with 0 goals to his name up top, a 17 yr-old at the back (who was OK to be fair) and their better players; Dack and Gallagher on the bench. A mixture of arrogance and ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h)

Everton and WHam join race for BBD apparently. Hopefully put him off his game a bit That, or they take him out completely to avoid any risk of injury. Don’t think it’s a Puscas situation - sure they’d rather not sell tbh 8-10m seems very low for him. Really rate him. When you see some of the shite ...

Nameless That means they reverted to being Y19.
Didn’t see you calling for Y19 to be abolished.

Y26 is the block under the scoreboard. Don't get to many home games?

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Didn't think there was a c1871 last night? There wasnt - he's just trolling. Members of Clbu1871 repositioned themselves under the scoreboard last night and proceeded to annoy and embarrass all around them. Just a quick look on social media will tell you this and that I am not 'trolling' as you put...

Re: Pre-season games 2022/2023

Good performance last night and nice to tick off a new ground. The half time rain was a laugh too.

Was impressed with the cameo from Yasin Ben El-Mhanni too - an interesting career so far and 26 years old. Imagine he would be a good risk-free signing.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

The club wants an atmosphere - Club 1871 has done a decent job of helping that atmosphere. No they don't. The club buckled under the pressure of the clowns who set up the narcissistic charade in the first place. Now it's "it works too well, and it costs too much revenue". So ye were wrong...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Ate Club1871 continuing next season? If so, I would like to see the P&L for this and expenditure, as on this cost of living crisis we cannot afford to spend on frivolous shit The entire club is losing money - shut it down. Club1871 is not "frivolous shit", it's an attempt to make goin...

Bit old news I know but Simon Jordan finally confirming what a complete belmont he is: https://fanbanter.co.uk/simon-jordan-bizarrely-hits-out-at-reading-as-six-club-take-up-new-away-ticket-scheme/amp/ I'd say he's just really playing the role of being the one who disagrees.
