WAZZOCK Fair play to everyone who travelled from Reading for that one.

The away attendance was 205.

Re: FA Cup 5th Round

Meh. Neither "box office" nor "interestingly quirky". I'd have preferred Middlesbrough away in the league that weekend, as originally scheduled. Oh well, here's hoping for a victory, and something better in the next round.

Re: RUMOUR - Paolo Hurtado

Has Hurtado left us? Charlie Watts seems to think so, according to his video post this morning's press conference: http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/video-reading-fc-press-conference-10801315 At the end of the interview in reference to "Owner signings" he refers to S...

No. He's too lightweight for Championship football - or at least the way we play it.

Re: BFTG Hull City

197 of us, apparently. Some good football, but mostly still misfiring in front of goal. Vydra was poor. Apart from playing a part in the build-up to the goal, his other major contribution was in the second half, when he tackled back and won possession. Unfortunately it was he who had lost the ball i...

Re: Who do you want to replace Tim Dellor?

I often listen to the local radio commentary when at away matches, and to Dellor and co via Reading FC Player for home matches. BBCRB coverage and commentary is undoubtedly top quality, and Dellor is a key part of that. On the rare occasions when he misses a game, the commentary suffers. I enjoy the...

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Stuart Pearce yet. Available, lives locally, reasonable record, particularly with England U21s.

Re: BFTG - Brighton

I feel we were fortunate to get a draw. Brighton were the best-organized team I've seen this season. Clearly their position in the table is no fluke. ????? Clueless. They were fortunate to get a point!! No, it wasn't good fortune, it was good organization. They continually snuffed out our attacks. ...

tulip 0-1 Yeah!

Thanks for the radio link btw.

You're welcome.
It is quite refreshing to hear the opposition commentary. Their commentators seem very well balanced, and have been full of praise for Reading. "...probably the best team we've seen here this season."

Re: BFTG Charlton (H)

Snowball136 His goal was the difference between winning and drawing at Burnley

His assist for Blackman's goal turned one point into three.

His defensive inadequacies lead to the Burnley goal, so at best he's evens on that match.
