Re: Portsmouth (A) match thread sponsored by "the bell"

Have you considered getting a grip as a solution? Why the hell should he?! People pay good money for this service and they are fully entitled to get the product that they have paid for and to get frustrated when the club and their commercial partners repeatedly fail to provide it. It was down for 1...

Re: New HD player problems

Why would you subscribe to Player when it's all on YouTube? I subscribe for the commentary. Living overseas means that I can't get commentary any other way! Last night's game was very frustrating as it didn't actually work until 5 minutes in to the game The kick-off time for me was 12:30am and I wa...

Re: Record Watch 2015/16

We lost our first home league game away 2-1, so we currently have an identical record to our record 106 season. 10 years on (was it *really* 10 years ago  ) I can't recall us playing many of our home league games away. We lost our first game 2-1 that season yes, but it was at home to P...

Re: New HD player problems

I use a Mac and works okay (ish) for me, but I don't use Safari, I use Firefox. The only problem I have is with my internet being so slow. On that subject, does anyone know of a way to download the highlights from the player.readingfc ? I live in Nepal and the internet is shockingly slow. It won't a...

Re: New Football League highlights Show

Does anyone know of a way to download the highlights from player.readingfc ? I live in Nepal and the internet is shockingly slow. It won't allow for buffering really so it's impossible to watch. Usually if there was something on YouTube I wanted to watch I'd need to download it so I can watch it uni...

Re: Rumour - Jack Hobbs

@sonkimarsson Listening to Nigel again tonight this sounds like completely made up nonsense by Bruce (including RFC's name as having bid for him again). No more deals in or out.

no MORE deals in or out? Who did we sign? I miss quite a lot.

Not sure why he's moaning about 7 minutes. The injury took over 5 minutes out of play, plus you add on the goals and anything else you can easily get 2 more minutes.

Re: Speculation - Leroy Lita

He's not coming to Reading. However, I would be happy if he did. Our strike force is the weakest it's been for as long as I can remember. He had a fall out with Kitson while he was at Reading? Breaking news: Kitson doesn't play for Reading anymore so there's not likely to be any problems there... Ou...

BraisingsteakRoyal This thread is a joke. Sharp isn't going anywhere.

At least not until the 93 day loan period covers the Christmas period.

Hadn't thought of that. Somebody call the Chronic.

Re: RUMOUR - Billy Sharp

I think if he's going to join anyone then it will happen when the club will be sure that the 93 day loan period can cover the Christmas period. Not sure why nobody has mentioned this before, but I am a football manager genius.

Re: RUMOUR - Billy Sharp

kwik-silva If you're talking about this then all it seems to be saying is that he's not actually signed for us yet.

That's really bad reporting. NO firm news at all, so we'll just make something up... Oh wait, that's just NORMAL reporting.

Snowball My garbage stats can be misleading.

Far more accurate to ignore the pish I come out with

Amen to that

Ignored exactly because of that fact, plus, he still insists on calling the top flight of English football the 'Premiership'. London Irish play in the Premiership.

Re: RUMOUR - Billy Sharp

If he does indeed sign, great. If he doesn't, meh. We've got Pog now, and if he keeps up his average goals scored for games started so far for the season he's going to score 38 more goals for us... Of course, he's also going to get sent off 19 times which means he'll miss a shit load of games and so...

John Peel Mods, is this discussion post really adding anything of value to HNA? I don't think so myself. It's not that we have zero chance of getting Sig back - it's all the irrelevant discussion too.

Don't read it.

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson

I've just heard from a reliable sauce that Anton is fed up of Adkins already. He offered him 100m to spend on Bale and he refused saying that he'd rather take Momo for nothing thanks. So, Adkins is due to be fired, with Gylfi coming home as player/manager on a 20 year, no-chance-of-being-sacked, sig...

Re: Loan market: coming to a team near you Sunday

They may leave any loan signings until nearer the end of the month as we can only sign them for a period of three months. That means if we want to extend or sign permanently they can continue playing without a break. Since when have season long loans not been allowed? Since shut..... And thanks for...
