Re: Aldershit

Bloody useless I was hoping for a nostalgic trip to the Rec in round 3. At least for the chance to show the newbies what the highlight of our season was back in the 70's and 80's.

Re: RUMOUR kebe to qpr

WBA were interested and are rumoured to be keeping tabs on him. QPR will spend if they go up so it's a likely move if Kebe doesn't return to France as he has previously indicated he'd like to do. Kebe wont be here certainly after next summer. We're a s£lling club now. What do you mean now we always...

Re: FAO Royalee

We are a small, third tier club and nothing that's happened in the last ten years or so has changed that. We had a brief moment in the sun, which made all the years of crap worth it! We do not have a right to be an established Prem club, nor will we be - ever! We may get promoted again, which would...

How many games is he up to now? If we ever have a museum I reckon that coat should have pride of place.

Re: Leeds game to be a sell out?

Leeds is the 4th biggest City in England and a one club City so there support should be big compared to little ole Reading down in 17.

Would ingemarson count? For me one of the clubs best signings. Hard pushed to remember a bad game he has played. Always 7/8 out of 10 reliable honest fair but hard pro.

Re: Back From The Game - Norwich

Interesting listening to Lambert saying the sending off changed the game. I bet if you offered him before the game 3-1 up at half time and one of your forwards sent off for he 2nd half he would have taken it. We put 3 past Barnsley with ten QPR beat us and drew with Pompey with ten as did Hull at Le...

Re: Cardiff - Vandalism in the away end

This happened last year they smashed up seats in the South stand. When Reading asked Cardiff to contribute to the damage there reply was it was our fault for letting them in. So that means we can go to there ground smash the toilets up as long as they let us in.

Re: Back from the game - Cardiff City

I would still say the lino is guessing, at the speed of play and the angle he is looking from there is no way he can be 100% sure. As mentioned a very good performance tonight and a very enjoyable game. Having just seen the Manc derby with over half a million pounds of so called talent failing to cr...

Re: Ex players and managers you still hold a grudge over?

Somehow Mark McGhee's departure upset me much more than Pardew's. McGhee's Aberdeen team losing again tonight means he is on the way out - according to the press at least. I shall shed no tears for him. +1 Both he and Pards had short lived careres in the Prem which shows the grass is not always gre...

Re: Back from the game - QPR

We are an average team we can hold our own against the teams around us against the better teams we will struggle as shown today and on Weds. Today just shows the difference between investmant and a team playing within there budget. Our support was poor today but what about them? 15,000 with 2,500 fr...

Re: Man City fans

I don't have a problem with them having rich owners but the way they are going about by looking for a quick fix by buying every half decent player that comes on the market then kicking him out if he hasn't done anything after 6 months. When an average player like Toure is is on £200,000 a week you j...

Re: Have you ever been attacked at a game?

A few but never at the Mad Stad. Mostly on the Southbank in the 80's Oxford Millwall both Bristol's. The best being Pompey a Easter bank holiday game in the early 80's. I foolishly made the mistake of celebrating Reading taking the lead which lead to me being set upon by a load of skinheads. I ended...
