Re: STEVE COPPELL

It was great listening to the BBCRB interview after the game. I was explaining to jnr leon II who he was in the car. Great keeper. Awesome times. & really nice bloke. At the time, we both had the same type of car, looked after by a specialist not a million miles from Aldermaston Wharf. Family m...

Re: BFGT Preston (H)

Really good result and quite deserved. A few words of caution to start though. I though Preston were the worst side I've seen this season except us, so baffled how they're riding so high. Plus despite better defending and play in general they still got a couple of alarming free headers they didn't ...

The Enfield Royal71 We will be lucky to get 5,000 at the game judging by the amount of crying and 'fans' on twitter saying they will boycott the club now.

Excellent, look forward to much shorter queues at the Blue Collar stands, and a bus back to the town, rather than the usual walk.

Re: Congratulations, you are the new Reading manager

GetReading showed a tweet with this comment Whoever the manager is that comes in, they’ll be inheriting a midfield with fantastic ball carrying and the ability to break the lines via dribbles. Swift & Ejaria rank in the top 5 for progressive carries p90 this season. Rinomhota excelled in this m...

Re: Congratulations, you are the new Reading manager

I suggest forming a ring of 9 around the best dribbler in the team and moving up the pitch as if one unit Logically, wouldn't that just end up with someone offside at some point? Haha... with the new rules probably not as not a receiving player, they'd all shuffle forward. And whlist impeding isn't...

Re: Gomes, Should he stay or should he go? Mk2

I'm fed up with all this chopping and changing. why do we sack a manager every year? Could it be because when a new manager comes in he wants to bring in new players, then it will take time for them to "gel", time runs out, sack manager, start the music again, more new players, stop the m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by hopeless causes

Well said, but nah...let's change formation...and then blame the manager for changing the formation. See lineup changes in here. But we then say 'Don't tinker! He’s only played the same team ‘x’ number of times!'. Well, how many games in a row have we picked the exact same starting eleven? How do y...

Re: The next 6 games.

As Snowflake said: it's not good enough to be taken seriously. Thank goodness really. The last thing football needs is the lazy mathematical punditry of American football, with bloody endless analyses of how many yards whose granny ran from 2nd down last season, I mean it’s great that they have som...

If I was to lodge a complaint, it would be on the basis of their My First LadyBird GDPR disclaimer. No, not having a go at Swift. Just depressed. Well quite. I think we all are. Watching Reading is my only hobby/activity. Its basically all I have to look forward to most of the time and all I want a...

I dont know. Lodge a complaint with them. They take most things into account. Pass accuracy, dribbles, tackles, aerial duels, hitting the post, fouls against. He, on the whole, was statistically the best player on the pitch according to them. I dont know all their metrics and I'm not defending Swif...

Re: This Team, WhoScored

Despite a poor performance, Swift was the highest rated player on the pitch today with a score of 7.86. The closest Blackburn player was Bradley Dack (who was my motm) with 7.52. In a poor week a score of 7.86 might sneak you into the whoscored team of the week. I wish I had some of what the WhoSco...

OK. It WAS hot. And we were playing a northern side more suited to the heat. And our side are still gelling. Hopefully they’ll be up to at least Panna Cotta levels of well-hard by Christmas. Jesus H Christ. And we’re back to 3 at the back, and zonal non-marking. Gomes WTF?
