Re: Long - Time to go.

Urz, you picked some of the greatest strikers of the last 20 years!!!!!

There's a much simpler way to consider how rare one goal in two games is.

How many Premiership strikers last season scored 19+ goals last season?

How many Championship strikers scored 23+ league goals last season?

Re: Coach journeys

I used to be a serious runner, marathons etc, and I could sprint.

Often traveled on planes and never stayed sat own for more than thirty minutes

Only way to avoid grief

Re: Kebe - a mixed blessing?

2 world wars, 1 world cup Agree with all thoughts above.

A mixture of having to find another option, Burnley being bamboozled by facing a different side and the almighty Tabb.

Nah, it was Harte...

Re: Coach journeys

ZacNaloen If you're already carrying an injury then a long cramped journey will cause an adverse reaction, I know because it happens to me after just 30 minutes on the train to London

Or try a 4-Hour coach journey after a marathon.

Trick is, you get up and do exercises and stretch.

Re: Burnley v Reading Match Thread

Churchy. He has had a few scrabbled-in goals and a few very difficult or long shots. But he misses sitters and near-sitters. He seems to miss when he has more time, if that makes sense. mental thing? No different to most strikers. He's got great movement and is reasonably quick with a decent first ...

Re: Kebe - a mixed blessing?

It's a possible, like last night QPR played, "Give it to Taarabaaaaaaat

But it may just be that we played our best midfield, and the radio was creaming themselves over Tabb's performance

Ryn
winchester_royal Saw an interesting stat this morning, apparently we have only conceded more than one goal once in the last 11 games.

If we could score we'd be laughing right now.

That's a pretty big 'IF' ;)

Burnley, nil....

Re: Long - Time to go.

He's useless- plain and simple. What is a worrying sign is that he is now one of Reading's best performing players and the fans would prefer to see him start in front of others. That shows how far this club has fallen Won a Penalty. Scored a Penalty. One brilliant assist, tap-in laid on for Antonio...

Re: Relegation form?

All I will say is "where on earth did that performance come from?" (a) Sticking with a defence that is second-best in the league. Includes playing Harte! (b) Bringing in a great mid-fielder (Tabb) (c) Bringing back a very good creative midfielder who works well with Tabb (Howard) (d) Pers...

Re: Back from the game - Bristol City away

Bristol looked pretty decent against QPR and their goal was a cracker. Mind you, as the QPR attacker failed with the free-kick, the midfielder was skinned by the winger, and the mid-field/defence prevented the shot which the keeper failed to catch, presumably all those players are total gash and sh...

Re: Brian's dilemma

I LIKE Karacan and Tabb. They break up play, run around a lot, but it's REACTIVE (more so Karacan) not PROactive. IMO we need someone who want to take charge. Against Swansea, seemed to me that Kish stepped up to the plate and he looked far more valuable. Seriously, I think if he played defensive mi...
