I was planning to have one tin of Ghost Ship on Saturday night but after hearing the result I upped the ante and had two.

Might buy a box and sell them on eBay for loads. Reckon I will have enough to buy a club after CFY https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bc/McVities_Club_Mint_biscuit_%28whole_and_filling_shown%29_%28UK_version%29.jpg As I said, peppermint Aero bubbles is/are the way forward.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Bradford Bournemouth Brentford Coventry Swansea For a few more. I wouldn't say Bournemouth and Brentford are bigger than us. Probably about the same size. Same as Bradford too. Only club who have always been bigger is Coventry from that lot. Wouldn't say Coventry have always been bigger, certainly ...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I know almost nothing about finances, but haven't you just contradicted yourself? No. Although HMRC cannot put a business or club into administration, the rules that apply automatically install HMRC as the preferred creditor should a business go into administration. If indeed HMRC are owed anything...

They are very hard to resist when waiting to pay, I'll give you that. Couldn't help noticing they've gone up to 95p for a small bar this week. Scandalous. Didn't know you could still get them. At last some good news... They're not easy to find. A decent alternative I think are Aero peppermint bubbl...

Royal Monkey Only one thing matters and that’s staying in League 1. Rest everyone play under 18’s and go out.

We're already playing out under 18s.

Why? His people visited on Sunday - he buys Headingley on Thursday (or deal announced at least) - he will have known he was buying Headingley before the visit - likely been close to completion for weeks, it's not like he's just gone down the petrol station to fill the car up and bought himself a Ca...

Ashley buying Headingley for 10 years probably counts us out. Why? Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Have noticed quite a few people coalescing around the idea that going into administration could be an outcome, although bad for minor creditors and points deduction, may be the only way in the short term to preserve EFL status. If the theory that Ashley is awaiting that outcome he then moves in and...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

The huge-if-true revelation that Ashley lives in Burnham makes perfect sense now with regard to buying the club. He's got his Saturdays all mapped out. Hops on the Elizabeth line to Reading, bus to the club, few beers with mates, after the match off to the Purple Turtle where he strips off as usual ...

This is quite good from the Bucks Free Press. Ashley lives in Burnham and regards the Thames Valley as 'very much his home.'

Forbury Lion Mike Ashley owns Coventry's stadium

Could he be here just to buy the Madejski Stadium?

I doubt it. His representatives were shown around Bearwood as well by all accounts.

Given Ashley's history of making deals, if he seriously wants to buy Reading FC he very likely will do.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

There’s a massive irony in the reaction from fans of other clubs to the news that Mike Ashley is interested in taking over RFC. For years Reading and its fans have been derided as being ‘tinpot’ or ‘plastic’ with a soulless flat pack stadium. But now we are being warned by all comers on social media...
