Re: Likely line up for first day next season?

Pearce holds this team back more than any other player IMO. To be a focal point of our play, but to be so poor with the ball on the floor is shameful. Ive never seen him pick a pass that cuts out a player, never seen him pick a pass thats ahead of a winger to run onto. Its like watching an animal w...

Re: How good/bad is our defence?

TLDR. But the goals against Rotherham, and the goals vs Brentford, were all defensive shit shows. Crosses nowhere near to being stopped at source, strikers getting a run on static lumbering CBs, goal. Every time. Ive never seen a Reading team so obviously worked out by the league.

Re: Safe standing end?

I'm a relatively young fan, fortunate enough to see my first few games at elm Park before the switch. I think you overestimate how much all the pictures of Kingsley stuck to the north stand actually mean for a child's desire to go to football. The game itself, and the atmosphere, are what kept me co...

Re: Sweet Caroline

I wonder if a few Rotherham fans will sit under their blankets in their equivalent of the north stand chanting "OFF OFF OFF OFF we want to clap our players around the pitch!!!11!" ala RFC? Leave spontaneous raw emotion with your bottle lids at the turnstile please,

Re: Sweet Caroline

You must bit a little simple FaithfulSon. An atmosphere is very very different to manufactured karaoke and rumblestixxx. there are tried and tested ways to create a genuine atmosphere, none of which Reading fc employ. But if you want to do some mongdiv singstar, its your prerogative.

Re: Sweet Caroline

can you hear that? its the sound of Paul Allen furiously vvanking himself off at the thought of being able to shout his timeless catchphrase again next season. It makes him feel so masculine, so alive. All the while, his chronies high in the west stand lineup the playback with hairs on end, ready to...
