Re: take the money, forget the ethics

That's a fair point, and a question you can only really answer if it happens to you. However we are talking about multi million pound footballers here, and one of the evil rulers currently in power. It's easy to preach, but this stinks.

take the money, forget the ethics

On a day where we saw the good side of football in the dignified way Chris Armstrong handled himself, here is the other side to footballers...always take the money, forget the ethics. Ramzan Kadyrov: President of Chechnya - wiki him, lovely fella, just the few gallons of blood on his hands, organise...

Re: DONE DEAL - Mathieu Manset

I am - totally and unfairly based on what i saw on Saturday, im going say that he will fail at Reading due to poor fitness, no first touch and lack of ability in the air....bar a few goals (albeit good ones from range no doubt) he will be farmed out on loan by next Xmas.....Time will prove my powers...

Re: Back from the game - Watford .........

Thought it was a decent game from two mid table sides. We dominated the second half. They looked reasonably dangerous on the counter but we always looked the more threatening. Pearce did well today. no mistakes got rid of the ball everytime, but mills kicking is absolutely shocking. He must have do...

Re: Reading FC was a West Reading club

i have to admit that the whole Town is a grey, un-inspiring and not very attractive, being the sort of place that you wouldn't visit unless you had some business here or a relative to visit. All the areas have a few nice spots, ( The Warren, Oak Tree Road, The University area etc.) but generally no...

Re: Back from the game - Watford .........

What a terrible terrible game... Yes we had more chances and should have won, but it was simply terrible football from both sides. They were awful, we were slightly better. Shocking advert for both sides, dreadful atmosphere from home fans and also from us considering the numbers, but in a game so n...

Re: your so sh*t he fell asleep

Did anyone here go to the Palace game away last season, or the year before that......? I only ask this as it seems many of those Palace fans didnt. Reading fans totally outsung Palace on both occasions, even the in the 0-0 game there was a fantastic atmosphere in the away end. Palace fans did not si...

Im a 28 year old journalist...good luck with the sterotypes Bit of an easy pop, this one - Grammar police alert - but shouldn't a journo of some maturity be able to type/spell/spellcheck properly? Or do you work for the Chronic, in which case, apologies? Journalists can't spell, thats why...

There should be a rule on this forum - you can only moan about the crowd if you contribute to the atmosphere.

Er yes, that was a killer quote to back up your strange belief that im not, indeed, 28. I would rather be 18, let me assure you.

Why do people chant "You couldn't sell all your tickets" or "they're here, they're there, everyfuckingwhere empty seats"??! Hello take a look around the home end you mongs. It is embarrassing. Fair play to Northampton very respectable turnout I thought. To be fair, that was only...

I didnt hear the Vuvzela, but that is worrying...Also agree with the easy, but i must admit i started doing it when we scored until my brain kicked in, and i stopped with a shameful look. Re: Players released

As I said in recently in another thread, of the players who have left in recent times, only Sidwell, Doyle and Marcus would get in our current team and that says everything about how poor a job Coppell was doing by the time he left. ALOL! Deluded fool. What it says is that the players have moved on...

Worst Stewards/Police: Our own, scumbags, jobsworths, especially against Peterborough but i can think of many other times, the scumbags... Shirley not as bad as West Brom's? As they are our own stewards, then yes....We were the away fans at west brom and won, so at least they had a tiny tiny excuse...
