Re: Selles In

Really don't think Wilder would have had the stomach for it here.... I think he probably would have walked quite early on. I doubt he's desperate for cash and wouldn't want the stress. Who knows where that would have left us. I think one of Ruben's main assets is his hunger and resilience, which ha...

Re: The Magic Number Thread

Ignoring GD, don't we need 72 then? Shrewsbury - 71 Port Vale - 71 Charlton - 70 Fleetwood - 62 Carlisle - 59 We currently have 36 so shouldn't the number be 36, not 35? Our GD is so superior to both that the extra point isn't necessary and that won't change if we match their points. If we get to a...

Anyone criticising the players is dim as fcuk by the way Agreed, it is quite embarrassing. Just seen someone on Twitter call him "Snakeintyre" and others hoping he gets injured. :| :| Most players look excited when they sign for a new club - does he look happy? https://www.portsmouthfc.co...

Anyone who decides to live there can have no complaints Have you met people? People will complain. People complain when they move next to a pub or a music venue that is too loud, so they'll happily complain about their nice area being full of "football hooligans" 25 times a year Like the ...

The official site appears to have gone back in time, and thinks the Derby game is postponed, and our next game is v Eastleigh. https://www.readingfc.co.uk/match/first-team/2023-24/g2371283 https://www.readingfc.co.uk/matches/ (this will no doubt have been fixed by the time anyone sees this) It's ha...

25%, the box of Opal Fruits and a Cadbury's Spira. That's my final offer. Deal. Well that was easy - so just why the heck is it taking Dai so long? Well I've just heard that WMTG does not have a box of Opal Fruits after all. Seems his wealth has been exaggerated. Looks like the deal is off WMTG by ...

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

The other problem with a boycott is that a lack of money in will just hurt the staff for more missed payments, points deductions for us, maybe more redundancies, and might cause a successful winding up order. I suspect this is what the club statement is referring to with regard to impact on staff. ...

I have had a banner made I hoping to get displayed at our Wolves game next Monday which is on TV. I don't know how to upload an image but it says Brighton Fans want Dia Yongge out Save Reading FC Fans United It's a small gesture but I hope that if they see fans of other clubs care, it may help. Ruben’s interview with The Chronicle today suggests he’s not far from packing it in. Getting nothing encouraging from the owner, losing his coaching team around him, having to front-up to the media for all the crap, etc. No wonder he is mentally tired. Just read it and yes he does sound pretty fed ...

Earnshaw responding to questions on Twitter that there are still 3 or 4 parties interested, but no real progress and we're basically back to where we were in early November. So don't expect anything imminent, but don't give up hope that we're stuck with him. Originally we wanted him gone by January...
