I'm still wistfully wondering how 2010 passed me by.
And 2009, for that matter
And 2008
Etc.

Brighton worry me in that they keep ball but their away form is very ordinary
apart from their fantastic start to the season. They started with three straight
away wins but since then they have W1 D2 L5, the win being at a poor Derby.

I don't expect an easy ride (hope it's not Saints from two seasons ago) but fancy 2-1 or maybe 3-1 with a very late confirmation

A 1-0 Portsmouth
A 3-1 Cardiff
A 1-0 Bristol

A 0-1 Leicester
A 1-3 Ipswich
A 1-1 Millwall
A 0-0 Birmingham
A 0-1 Watford
A 0-3 Southampton
A 1-0 Derby C
A 0-1 Middlesbrough

P11 W4 D 2 L5 8-11

We should just about win this - they have a lot of players out at the back and Reyes who has been doing really well has been recalled by West Brom. They over pass from the back and teams are now wising up how to play against them and worrying for them is that Poyet's own petulant streak from his playing days seems to be rubbing off on his team.

Really want us to win this more than any other game - loads of their fans live round where I am and they all think they are this big club and should be in the prem by right. This seems to be based on a theory they have this massive fan base which they have never had even when at the goldstone.

If they checked their history out they would find that their league history is very similar to ours both in terms of average following and success.

Apparently there is a school of thought that maintains if you keep repeating bullshit long enough, then it will be eventually be recognised as fact.
Enjoy your moment when shi1tpot little old Reading turn over the biggest football club in the galaxy.
Wolves fans may be deluded, but at least the club they follow won something.

I concur with the anti-BHA sentiments tbh. I went down there in the 2001/02 season when our Friday night game with them was called off at late notice. Luckily, I was able to make a weekend of it with a friend of mine who was down there at Uni and I went out with her and her Uni mates on the Friday night instead. We got chatting to some BHA fans in the queue for the nightclub near the seafront and as soon as they grasped that I was a Reading fan we got a whole load of arrogance. I was also invited to attend a National Federation of Supporters Clubs meeting held at the Madj the following season and was again struck by the aloof self-importance of the BHA fans who had a bit of an anti-Reading issue. They've got their lovely new ground now, so we can finally stop hearing of their Promethean quest to get a football ground built.
