RFC v BRISTOL CITY MATCH THREAD

by Maguire » 28 Jan 2012 13:06

Johnny Fordham reckons Roberts will start and Tomas Cywka will be on the bench.

I don't believe the teams are announced yet, correct me if I'm wrong.

Griff in for Harte, that's a strange one

Pleased Roberts is starting, would have liked to see him up top with ALF but I guess he is just going with that bit more experience in Hunt to work in this type of partnership.

Probably would have gone with HRK over Church if he's fit myself given Roberts is playing, but Cywka covers that position too I guess.

I'd have been inclined to put out ALF and Hunt and tell them Roberts is in next week, show me which of you should partner him. And give Church a similar chance off the bench for 30 minutes.

Decent team. Maybe Griff in because he offers a little more guile on the ball and mobility going forward than Harte?

Hang on, I thought McAnuff was the doubt, not Kebe? What the hell is Antonio doing starting!? Didn't notice that. Oh dear. Hope Kebe and HRK are only out with minor knocks, they must both be injured shirley!

Just curious as to when was the last ti e a new signing went straight into the starting 11? Maybe it was Leigertwood but this feels completely different.

Probably the last time I said a new signing hadn't had any time to get to know the players in training and wasn't going to be fully fit.

If i were harte i would be a bit pissed, you play well for a few games then Griffin gets fit then straight away he is droped, if it werent for Griffin we could be in the Premier legue!

If it wasn't for Griffin we might not have made the PO Final. And of course, our problems in the Final were exclusively Griffin and not at all to do with the rest of the team as well, in particular Khizanishvili.
