Dellor just on BBC Berks, said he spoke to BM hallf an hour ago. Said that BM heard fans on the radio yesterday morning wanting him to stay and was moved by it.

Brian told Dellor that the relationship he has with RFC and the fans swung it for him.

Barry the bird boggler According to SSN Wolves asked for permission to speak to Brian but we didn't reply and gave him a new contract.

Lol now that is the way to do business, just don't reply! Maybe we should have done that when the phone was ringing for Long

I'm amazed this "need permission to speak to someone" rule still stands - surely if it were challenged in a tribunal they couldn't enforce it?

And loyalroyal4life - it's not really "the way to do business" - if you have to resort to keeping a disenfranchised employee by stopping others from speaking to him then somethings gone badly wrong (not saying that happened here, far from it)

brian has clearly read some of the twitter/facebook jibes about being unhappy hes even talked to wolves/manouvered to get a better contract, and is tryinbg to rebuild bridges between himself and the reading fans

Alan Partridge
Ups and Downs Soggy is the Pope to Fordhams dog shit off a baby murderers shoes.

 bit extreme but again fine to join in

That's the edited version.

There's a lot of people on the UR&G who haven't exactly crowned themselves in glory whilst claiming to have insider knowledge gleaned through a friend of a friend who knows someone at the club and the talk of wolves contracts on the table. They are all a bunch of punts.

Though not as much as Fordham who started this nonsense on monday with his completely incorrect report on mcd meeting with wolves. What a hack twat he looks now! He has absolute zero credibility now. Not that he had much to start with.

I don't know how anyone could be angry with him. He's just a wonderful, wonderful person in my eyes.

Very, very happy. Top manager. Beyond pleased that he is staying on and got an extension and a pay hike. Would have been totally gutted if he left.

He doesn't need to build any bridges. If he hasn't even talked to Wolves (as now seems to be the case) then I can't see how anything he's done can be criticised. Those having a go were just inventing stuff to attack him with.

Could be our most important signing. Have to say I am loving the new Russian led inflence, since they have been around we have avoided losing a key player in Kebe, signed jason Riberts (Who I will admit I was not keen on, but he has done the buisness so far) and now we have managed something we could never do before and thats stave of interest in our manager from a supposed bigger team!

Agreed, without TSI here he'd have gone and we'd be looking to Gibbo to make the step up.

Vision LOL @ the handwringers.

Mind you just because he's signed a new deal doesn't mean he's staying. I reckon he'll be Wolves manager by the end of the week

Irony overload.
