If England are top of uefa fair play ranking - as @ReadingFC are top of England's fair play can we go in to Europa despite being relegated?

I thought if England got a fair play spot it goes to the highest team in PL that's not in Europe. Not necessarily the most fair team.

UEFA offer a Europa league spot to the top three leagues, for fair play, in Europe. The premier league is currently fourth and we are not at the top of our league anyway.

I don't like how the fair play is worked out. It includes whether a team has played "positively". I don't understand how positive football counts as "fair play". It should be red and yellow cards to work it out.

Don't worry - we'd by out by the end of July. We're not going to qualify anyway :) .

If England does get in. Southampton will be below us now. Fulham may fall below us. We could be in Europe

we can hardly get red/yellow cards if we can`t get near enough to put in a tackle

Time wasting.

We've wasted over 3,060 minutes this season, turning up.

We've never played in Europe in our history. This looks unlikely, but any fan who wouldn't want to see us play in the Europa League, even if its just some miserable outpost in Armenia before capitulating at home in the second leg, is absolutely mental.

THIS!!!

Of course it would be a great experience if we got into Europe! Would make up for not getting there first time in the Prem.

Why has this thread been started? We can't get in even if England finishes no 1 in the fair play league.

Would someone please elaborate and tell me in English how likely we are of this actually happening ...

It's not unlikely it's impossible. Thought someone already explained that - Any placing would go to the highest team in the league not already in europe.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news RL. I wanted a random trip to the arse end of nowhere too.

The flurry of red cards yesterday will probably ensure England isn't in the top 3 leagues anyway so all irrelevant really.
