Singing Defective Not sure why the discussion with ticket office about location when it’s unreserved seating..still, parking is free, and a quid is truly stupid money. Can’t wait. Will the Bavarians bring some Weissbier?

South stand is open- so they asked me where i wanted to sit- Lower west or South

Hendo IN for Bayern as well.

£1? Even if I don't go, happy to put a pound into the club.

IN x2 now :D

If Twitter is anything to go by, 1500 sold for tonight with 250 in C1871, which is pretty impressive!

Strong side for tonight then (no over age players though)

CBC in goal, Loader and Olise back in. Interesting to see House on the bench, assumed we’ve recalled him

Think the loans for U23 players allow them to play for their own team in cup comps - thats why Osho is playing

Three centre backs? Or will one of them play in midfield.

Updates appreciated as couldn’t make it back tonight

Think Holmes can play midfield? Either way it’s a good audition for McIntyre and Holmes to get a spot in the first team squad

Ben House back from Swindon early then - don't think it can have gone too well for him there.

Just got home, pretty poor really, 2nd best all over the pitch to a talented Bayern team, first goal right out of the Jaap Stam book of defending and then a goal no keeper on earth would have stopped. never seriously tested their keeper, couldn`t see a single player ready for 1st team action on tonight`s showing.
Good turn out by 1871 , and a noisy 100 strong group of Germans in the away end.

Shame to be out of the competition. We didn't disgrace ourselves though. Some nice build up play, just missing the final ball.

Fair play to Bayern, they blitzed us in the second half.

They didn't. The was very little between both sides throughout the match. We had the best f the first half, but Bayern were slightly stronger (and more savvy) in the second. Also, the third goal came from an utterly soft free kick awarded by a ref who.... well ask Warnock.

Against a club with the resources available to them. Our academy stood up well. If this is the future of our club then appears that there'll be more first team debuts in the future.

I think that's a bit harsh. For significant periods of the first half and twenty minutes of the second half, we were well on top and should really have scored.

If we don't make the error leading to the first goal, I think it stays 0-0. They hadn't created much of note (bar the penalty, which came from CBC diving in when their man was going away from goal), but as soon as they got in front they were impossible to break down. Very organised defensively.

I agree that everyone still looked a bit far off the first XI, but there are players with a lot of potential in that team. I personally thought McIntyre, Howe and Olise were really good tonight.
