Big loan for House - really has to show he belongs way above this level to have any chance here (unlikely though I think) or get a decent move to another League club. Good start.

from SSN. We're prob best letting him go tbh:

Manchester United are one of several Premier League clubs considering a bid for Reading’s talented young striker, Danny Loader.

The 20-year-old is out of contract this summer and talks on a new deal have stalled.

The former England youth international, who made his Reading debut for Jaap Stam as a 16-year old, almost left the Madejski Stadium on Deadline Day last summer, only for a move to Wolves to fall through.

You’d think they could get basic facts right...

The lad can't even do it at the lower end of the Championship what makes these teams think he can do it with them in the lower end of the PL?

Especially in the summer where we let our best academy prospect go to Feyenoord for free

Apart from all the ones who leave us for lower than market value fees.

I'm still bitter about Tanner, Dickie, Hyam, Novakovich and Stacey.

We do alright, but we could do a lot better given the potentials we've had.

We bring in an awful lot of mediocre squad fillers when we could give Academy lads 5-10 appearances instead.

And I would personally put Cooper, Kelly, McCarthy and Fosu to the list given the relativity low fees they moved on for compared to their actual value.

Kelly's position had become untenable and his attitude was questionable, so I can live with him.

Never particularly rated Fosu and he didn't do a lot on loan iirc so ok with that.

McCarthy should have been ahead of Fed but I think wanted away and his head has sometimes not seemed in football.

Cooper was a bit of an error admittedly.

Apart from Stacey none of those guys have amounted to anything. No one can stop talking about Novakovich but he's in Serie B without a goal in 9 games.

Don't understand the hype about Loader, can't get into a mediocre championship side and is making a fuss about wanting a move. Says more about the decline of Man Utd if they really are sniffing around.
