That line-up is baffling. HRK up front as the lone striker. He is bloody terrible as a winger, even worse up front and more so on his own. HRK tried convincing McDermott he could be a striker. He's obviously very convincing!

LoyalRoyal22 HRK played upfront on his own at home to Leeds, played well. He's got all the attributes to play that role. Better suited upfront than on the wing.

Agreed. Lone striker is his position. He plays like a winger up the middle. Did well against Charlton too. He's not great with a partner though.

What formation is this 4-4-1-1? Or 4-5-1? Or 4-4-2?

4-2-3-1 is my guess (aka 4-5-1)

Kebe out with a hamstring, and Hunt on the bench.

VERY harsh on Federici and Hector.

Amazed Akpan gets in.

Prepared to give HRK a proper chance...

I'd take Hunt back. We miss his tenacity and partnering.

No Yoda I have not. Not since the home game against Leeds, where he put a massive shift in.

He hasn't scored all season. He runs a lot, but I don't think we miss him. Very average player who suited Brian's workman like football (or did).

Never scored a lot of goals for us either. That wasn't his game, It was all about effort and link play. As has been argued many times on here, he did a lot to make Doyle, Long & Roberts look good.

This line up could be a masterstroke or a disaster. Can't decide.

Really in a predicament right now as I want to book a holiday abroad in May when the PO final is on. In order to make my mind up one of the following 2 options needs to happen:

We win all 5 games in March meaning we have 67 points & would be a pretty solid bet for a play-off spot > don't book holiday

We lose all 5 games in March & fcuk it up > book holiday

Worst thing to happen:

Lose all 5 games in March > book holiday > team then does a mental run of 7 straight wins to get 6th with 73 points, get to Wembley & win promotion.
