Wigan appears to be the key game, rather like last season... Let's hope it turns out differently this time.

An interesting post match quote:

"I know it is a results business but we have had no stability here for a long time. Obviously it would help if the manager knew who the owner was going to be."

The quote came from Brian but Nigel could have been saying exactly the same thing in his defence over recent months!

At the moment it appears that our current manager is dealing with the lack of stability and ownership doubts somewhat more effectively than his predecessor is at Leeds.

Libertine

Good composure from Pearce, chests it down and strides clear of the box. He hoofs it clear. Out for a throw. ***mings is coming on for Hal.

Their software censored his name.

Oh dear.

Probably because the club isn't a total basket case. For us it's just a case of the money man disappearing. The rest of the structure is still there and secure. At Leeds the whole place is a shambles and has been for years.

How many times has Adkins been sacked then reinstated and then had to wait while the guy who sacked him gets the to ahead to takeover so he can most likely sack him again?

He knew what he was going back to though. He could and should have stayed away. Leeds were shitting it when they realised Cellino broke the rules in sacking him. In any case, both situations are very unsettling for board members, coaching staff and players. This is where Adkins, the professor of positiveness (annoying or not) comes into his own in keeping spirits up!

First Leeds league attendance this season to be under 20,000. Good to see Reading are a big draw.

Getting hammered by Bolton a few days before and fast losing faith in their manager and board obviously didn't come in to it.

Agreed. That and he must have little or no friends posting over 20000 times on a forum in a club he doesn't even support.
