Nick should really have done some proper homework on this and at the very least checked where Reading FC stand in the national league table for football related disturbances. Terribly lazy journalism. If I ever see him at a game I'm going to slap him across the chops with my spazclapper - I am THAT mad!

Article doesn't even attempt to be balanced. A couple of people arrested and suddenly there's a hooliganism problem, this is despite us regularly appearing at the bottom end of the arrests table (Reading shambloles as always). Lowest common denominator reporting merely seeking to confirm the out of date prejudices non-football supporters have about football fans.

There are 2 sports reporters and a sports editor at Reading Chronicle. None of them with the name Nick Gutteridge.
