Steve Kean for me. Very under8ed coach and was harshly treated by the Venky's at Blackburn.

Doing a great job at Leeds, so can see why we'd want him back.

Yes, it must be easy managing a team that's not getting their wages. (What's Nige's excuse?)

How do you know it's not the same?

Nige is managing the ownership situation a lot better, and just managing in general. So we can infer he's the better manager than McDonut.

^this. there surely has to be unrest with our owner in hiding in russia, and we havent seen him in months. the team is probably suffering, albeit they are still getting their wages. its a bit different when the team isnt getting their wages, but still mcdermott's team has done a nosedive and adkin's is still grinding results, despite. i love brian to death but i have to say adkins is probably a better overall manager.

Yeah. Lets take another step backwards just because the attempt to go forwards isn't working.

Ditto. I was very unimpressed with the way be got rid of Brian. However I'd say objectively Adkins is the better manager. Leeds were losing badly long before whether they were paid or not was an issue.

I'd like some assurances from the club that our finances are not in a similar state given we have similar ownership issues.

No thank you, we all need to move on! Love him for what he did for us but I can't bare another season of hoof ball. Stick with Adkins and let him make wholesale changes this summer.

With all the hoof-ball of recent home games, it's like he's never been away.

would be a bad move - its not normally a good idea to get a previous manager back - unless you are someone like Mourinho - and even there the jury is out to some extent.

He's not exactly pulled up trees at Leeds and its only this week the players haven't been paid n full - the uncertainty in the background is not much different to what's going on here....

He's also been given far more support in the transfer market than Adkins.

Absolutely spot on. Apart from the bit where we cane the Championship with ruthless, attacking football.

Obviously.

I don't think Nigel Adkins is going to get sacked anytime soon.

However, if he was to decide to walk away, Madejski was the one making the decision and McDermott didn't have a club then I could certainly imagine McDermott being a strong candidate for the role - though that said Madejski didn't go back to Coppell after Rodgers had gone.

It's obviously a tight set of circumstances but if McDermott was available I think he'd be high on Madejski's list personally if there was a vacancy. I think Dolan would be pretty high too.

Whether that would be the right decision who knows. I think McDermott's had a difficult 18 months but certainly if he did ever become our manager again (particularly in our current state) I'd be happy with that.
