Plenty of options thankfully. A combination of Blackman, Vydra, Cox and Hurtado could play up front in a 442, or if we keep the 433 style you could add in HRK, McCleary, and probably John + Piazon too.

Simples. No reason why Blackman and Vydra won't be able to link up well.

Clearly Vydra needs a partner, or someone to play off him. Blackman is the obvious choice, with Vydra picking up any second balls following on from Blackman antics in the box.
Then McCleary on the right I guess. Or play with no wingers and Piazon up the middle.

Cox can't lead the line though.

As much as I'm not yet fully buying into The Blackman Renaissance I think the most obvious move is to switch him upfront and bring McCleary onto the right.

The alternatives would be to leave Blackman where he is, play Vydra a bit further forward with one of Piazon, Hurtado, McCleary or John playing off him (Piazon being the first choice for me) or, heaven forbid, just make a like-for-like swap of Robson-Kanu in for Sa (it would be more akin to his role for Wales afterall).

It will be HRK to play up top in a two with Vydra.

HRK seems to be Clarkes first choice from the bench at the moment in the striking department and Blackman has played well in the attacking winger role, which should work well with HRK being able to cover him when he overlaps.

Lets hope that HRK sticks in some Wales like performances for us, we have earned it after all sticking with him for so long, let him prove himself as the top striker he thinks he is. He has 2/3 games to do well whilst Sa is out of action. Lets see what he can do with some quality up there with him in Vydra.

I think Hal would actually hold the ball up better than Blackman.

You know it'll be Blackman up front and HRK though don't you?
Although, Blackman seems to score most goals when on the left/right so maybe HRK will be up front.... he is the no 9

Spot on Woodley Royal. I was just about to suggest the same. Would rather give him a chance ahead of Cox or HRK.

Deffo Cox for the rest of the season, and sign Cureton for back up.
