Having thought about it, whilst considering his managerial and tactical shortcomings, I wouldn't object to having McD back on a short term contract until the end of the season regardless of promotion or not.

It would be nice to have someone in charge that actually cares about the club again.

Brian would be a step backwards. Wasn't good enough at the end of his time last year, hast done anything to prove he now is. Negative football, long balls into the corner and very boring to watch. How can people want someone back that a lot of people wanted gone a few years ago with nothing in between to suggest he's changed or improved. Cheap and boring option.
Garcia or someone like rowett for me

McDermott deserves better than that. I'd hope he would laugh at an insult like that.

Lost for words, just when i thought we were moving on as a club. Prove me wrong Brian, but i really can't help but think this isn't the right decision.

genome A friend of mine close to the club says there hasn't been much in the way of progress and it's doubtful we will have anyone in place before Preston. Apparently none of the candidates mentioned so far are nailed on or remotely close, so McD rumour is most likely just a result of betting patterns.

Glad I didn't make that bet. After everything that happened with Clarke I feel the owners wanted a loyal man in charge, not only that but he'll have the fans behind him from the start.

Fap fap fap fap.

I was in the "don't go back" club, but equally did say that if it happened I would be truely excited to welcome him back. So a bit mixed but overall would be happy and I think it would lift the club and fans' spirits
