Bad selection for the start, bit of an improvement for a while in the second half but all in all pretty clueless selection to start with, we are going backwards at an alarming rate. Best we get a coule of strikers in during January or start believing in the ones we have got and stop parking their asses on the bench till it's too late. So much for the messiah's much deluded return.

McDermott out !!

Will type up more later.

Both Brentford goals absolute top quality
We don't look like a team... too many loanees and mercenaries?
We are cynical and I hate it. Enough of the diving. Hector needs to fcuk off back to Chelsea, arrogant and McShane bailed him out today on a couple of occasions
Good McDermott substitution
Superb atmosphere until Brentford scored, embarrassIng support from them. (Calling us Pikeys? :| )

If we don't concede we win ! At the beginning of this season we looked unbeatable, even Everton we looked decent and deserved a draw ... Let's see how patient the board are if this shambles continues. Simple fact is we should be beating below par sides with what looks like a decent squad, the games won't get any easier .. All hail the messiah !

You can't keep blaming the manager, as much as you have this bizarre hatred for McDermott. We are set up to create, we're passing the ball about even though you so vociferously keep accusing him of being a long ball merchant, and our possession is also up.

It's the players, they are set up right but they are letting themselves down where it matters.

I couldn't care less if we hoof it, if it means the difference btwn winning and losing to crap sides ! Strange how BM has called upon Terry Burton as he favours a short passing game, although the lack of end product does concerns me ..

Brentford definitely one of the best teams to visit the Mad Stad this season. Looked a well drilled team, passed the ball well and didn't run into endless dead ends. Had a game plan to attack our left hand side and it worked. Both goals came down that side, and that isn't a criticism of Quinn, who got no support all day. It also meant Norwood constantly being dragged out of position leaving large gaps in midfield where Williams should have been.

Apart from about 20 minutes of play, I thought that was a pretty poor performance. Definitely not as good at the one at Wolves but to be fair Brentford are a better side than Wolves and didn't time waste like many teams have on us. Fair play for the 2 strikes as well is all I can say, sometimes not much can be done. I still think we should be doing better to stop their player get a shot on for the first one. Their bloke Woods looked a cracking talent.

Taylor must play at left back next game (whether he is ill or not). These players are paid thousands of pounds a week and should be able to cope with it.

Except the starting 11, everything else tactically was completely wrong. When players get booked early we don't target them. Tarkowski was on a yellow for almost the entire game yet we didn't try make him tackle us. Piazon was my MoM by a mile. I was shocked when he was subbed and even more shocked that Liburd replaced him. That decision probably cost us at least a draw.

We need to play a system that gets the best out of this squad because what we are doing isn't working. Hopefully the club will learn not to sign 5 players on loan including one for £2.5m. Vydra is a good player but that was wreckless and its no way to build a team especially one where 5 of our match day squad are very unlikely to be here next season.

Rant over!
