Jordi Gomez is playing, he's like our kryptonite.

Mind you, we're our own kryptonite at the moment.

Why effort in this game ? it's been sadly missing for a long time now, on the bright side a bloody good hammering might see the end of McDermott !!

And people really still believe in McDermott?

What are the excuses for him this week?

genome CW saying that the formation is not working... been saying that for weeks.

Problem is, it's not the same formation we've been playing for weeks apparently.

It's really disappointing. Not that long ago we'd started playing much better and got a bit unlucky to lose a couple of games, then we've just given up and totally fallen apart into utterly abject play. I hesitate to suggest this is the case, but it is very much like they got safety confirmed and just gave up at that point.

Ooo. Kermorgant scores from the freekick after arguing with Norwood about who takes it. Off bar and post, in out and then cleared off the line from McShane.

Great news! Readings remaining strike force has now broken into double figures for league goals!! If you add them all together.

Rakels - 3
Kermorgant - 3
Vydra - 3
Cox - 1

Well, only 1 goal in it at HT. We're almost still in it.

Double sub at HT and say go out there and oxf*rd earn your chance to a couple of Kuhl, Watson, Stacey and Dickie?

According to CW Hal Robson-Kanu is coming on, good to see the youngsters getting a chance..........................

TBF, it's another obvious choice given he's been one of our better attackers, if also very light on goals. And we don't have any young strikers on the bench.

Dickie on for Barrett!? Dickie at right back, McCleary up, Hal up front for Kermorgant.

Delighted for Dickie getting on the pitch. He looked a better prospect than Cooper when he was playing U18s ad Cooper U21s. Hopefully he's continued to progress. And he's got competitive experience on loan at Cheltenham in the Conference.

I thought Watson was ahead in the pecking order at right back? Isn't Dickie a CB?

Yeah Dickie's a CB, Watson a RB. But Dickie and Hyam are better prospects than Watson IMO and it's not uncommon to give CBs their first few starts at full back.

Apparently 4-3-3

Dickie.McShane.Cooper.Gunter
Williams.Norwood.Quinn
McCleary.HRK.Rakels

Dickie spent most of his time at right back and on the odd occasion in midfield at Cheltenham, they really rate him there , depending what happens in the summer, with ins and outs, could see him back there, at least up until Christmas.

I haven't seen him recently, but he and Hyam looked a cut above a few years ago. I'd like to see them get some more experience in League One / Two next season and then get some cover and cup games for us the year after.
