Mid Sussex Royal Its taken Don Goodman 3 mins to mention that we are the most vulnerable side chasing the playoffs in the Swansea game

Well he`s not wrong is he?

No - but its clear he has a problem with us...he's just gone on about sides spending the most money and squad size, sounded like a dig at us

Again, he’s not really wrong. Our expenditure v revenue is always pretty poor. For the last 20 odd years ago we have always seemed to spend a lot on wages.

That being said Don Goodman goes to sleep thinking about negative things to say about us so he can reel them off at every opportunity.

Turned it on just in time to see their second.

Very swiftly turned it off again.

What with Swansea now three up, it also takes their goal difference advantage just a bit further away from us.

The bottom line we are going to have finish above either Barnsley or Bournemouth. That's it realy.

Brentford are still slipping right now but if we are going to make it then Barnsley and Bournemouth are the most likely to drop out.

Funny really, 24 hours ago you'd have said Watford away is one of the hardest games left and defeat is not unexpected. But now we have lost, the playoffs seem 5 times further away. We basically need 10 or 12 points from 5 games, including a trip to Norwich, to overtake Barnsley or Bournemouth. Possible? Yes. Likely? No.

We are going to have to turn against some poor records vs the sides we're yet to play I think.

Cardiff - just 2 wins at home in our last 11 v them since premier league relegation under Coppell. We've won 2 from the last 5 at home v them but still a poor record over the years.

Luton - just 1 win at Kenilworth Road from our last 6 there in all competitions (just the 5-0 slaughter of them last year). Even the 106 side lost there.

Swansea - no win in 14 in any competition since 2008. Think we've lost 8 or 9 of those games and Swansea have smashed us 4-1 in their last 2 league visits.

Norwich - we actually have a pretty good record at Carrow Road over the last 20 year's or so with 4 wins there from our last 10 visits. But the best team in the league still and it has to be seen as a free hit.

Huddersfield - our recent home record is far from great vs them lot either with 2 wins from their last 6 visits to the Madejski.

Whilst football isn't played on stats, except for Norwich we don't have a decent record v any of our remaining opponents and Norwich is our toughest game on paper left. I'd expect no more than 6 points from those games. We're more likely to finish 8th or 9th than in the top 6.

All those games incl. Norwich are winnable.

WNG.

If Barnsley and Bournemouth win, pressure is totally off us.
